Guest guest
Just thought I should relate what happened to me this weekend. I went to a college football game. The weather was rainy so I wore some shoes that wouldn't get messed up. I wear my plastic braces with them. I wore them all day and didn't get back to my hotel room till later. By the time I got back, I had some new blisters and red rubbed spots. This never happens to me when I wear my metal braces. All of that plastic that you are wearing inside your shoe rubbing your skin, it's just asking for something like this to happen. I thought that my feet were tough from all of the years of having plastic braces. I guess that I've been wearing the metal ones more lately and my feet had softened up some. Just kinda amazing when you think about it. You have to toughen up to feet to be able to wear plastic braces. Just something your orthotist wouldn't know about since he more than likely doesn't wear braces. Used to be when I was growing up many of the orthotist wore braces too so they could relate to what you were going through. Bob
