Hi Betty & Barb:

My neurologist is in Mississauga. His office is in the professional building

at 2300 Eglinton St, next to the Credit Valley Hospital.

I can give you more information if you need. He was the doctor that

diagnosed me with CMT and arranged for a DNA test at Credit Valley Hospital

which confirmed his diagnostic. I have CMT1A.

I now live in Port Elgin, On. but I will be spending the weekend in Whitby,

ON. with the President & CEO of Lakeridge Health Corporation. He is in

charge of four hospitals, the Oshawa General, Whitby, Bowmanville and Port

. I will ask him if he can recommend a good doctor in his part of the

GTA.

I have known this guy all my life and we graduated from Business

Administration together in Saint , NB. Maybe he can help?

Thank you for the information. My son has two neurologist, one is in Sick kids

hospital and another one in North York hospital. They only see my son once a

year, we have been told there is not much they can do for him, but we do see

foot doctor more offen. My son will have his feet surgery this summer in Sick

Kids Hospital. How offen do you see your neurologist? I would like my son to

have DNA test, but been told it not available in Canada. How much is the cost

for your DNA test and if it's coverd by OHIP or your insurance.

It must be very beautiful in Port Elgin, I have been Collingwood few times, next

time I will go to Owen Sound and Port Elgin.
