Guest guest
I was going through some of the archives on NT-3 and realized that it has really been a long time since that first study was conducted. It was proven successful in the 4 patients who recieved the NT-3. Why then, have no other studies been started? I know the obvious answer is " CASH " , but if something has shown to help CMT... clearly. The study displayed concrete proof of this, how can places like MDA justify not spending the money to dig deeper? Seems like a no- brainer to me since it was already proven to help in humans not just a lab rat. It's so neat to see the light at the end of the tunnel but it feels like we could have the cure in hand but can't get through the red tape. Very encouraging yet frustrating.
