Guest guest
Bobbie, I'm using AFOs and I'm happy with them, you can wear a sock over them and use an ok shoe..of course I can't wear those high heels red shoes I'm dreaming about but hey maybe one day...lol I loved what Gretchen showed us, which I think are the SAFOs with silicon..they look real cool but I wonder if they help with the balance as well as foot drop. I wouldn't mind having a pair of those just for the house. I wish you a speedy recovery for the next few months. Moms are just so great to have. Guest guest
Spy, Thanks! You are right. I don't know what I would do without her. Bobbie
Guest guest
I wear orthotics, but can someone tell me where I can see a picture and exactly what AFOs are? Thanks, **** , try looking at our LINKS, under AFOs or Ankle Foot Orthotics. There are many types and styles. Later I will see if I can access the 2005 Desk Reference and scan in some pictures. ~ Gretchen
Guest guest
Cannan, I wear 2 AFOs also. I have plastic ones. I wear a sock under them and one over them. So they can not be seen. I also walk a little different. But the AFOs stop me from falling. I always pants that way they are not seen either. I am 39 yrs old and I just don't like to be noticed. I hope this helps you. Email me back if I can help. Bobbie
