I also am the only one in my family with CMT. I did have a grandmother with

ALS and she had a cousin with a form of MD. Sometimes I wonder if all these

different types are linked somehow. If anyone knows please let me know. I

am taking my son to a neurologist to see if he has CMT.

Oh and regarding a doc in Chicago, Dr. is awesome. He works at the

MDA clinic every month. He is very knowlegable.
