Guest guest
I'm the same way, my work schedule isn't that bad, 4 at night until 9 or 10, but it's constant, working in a fast paced resort (restaurant/bar). The only good thing I can think that comes out of this, is the exercise, if it stays under 5 hrs. But on my days off, I have to do the normal chores, pay the bills, etc..and really want a whole day off. It takes hours in the morning to get going, thus the night work. I know what you mean about the sleep. I feel like I'm missing out on something if I want to take a nap, and at the same time, I should just sleep when my body needs it! I feel guilty taking a nap. There's is always something I feel I need to do (which there usually is!!) But I did realize, when all is said and done and the chores are done, I do sleep really well. Guest guest
Tori, I brush my teeth just before going to bed too. I'll brush them earlier and have a sip of water before retiring. ANYTHING is worth a try. Thanks, Ellieodsdst41 <odsdst41@...> wrote: I don't know if this would make a difference to anyone else - but it's helped me. My liver deal has been very acute and I noticed that it took me a long time to get to sleep (yes, I am grateful that I get to sleep at all after reading your posts)when my numbers were higher. I usually brush my teeth right before I go to bed and I found that if I did it earlier (about an hour and a half)I slept sooner and better. I just sip a little room temp water right before bed now.I think that there is a trace amount of alcohol in toothpaste??I hesitated to post this because it's probably a tiny element for what is a huge ordeal -insomnia.
