Guest guest
Hello everyone, For a number of years, I have been on a low dose of an SSRI to help with anxiety and depression connected with a childhood back injury, paralysis, surgery and general disability and chronic pain. I recently spotted Zoloft on the list of neuro-toxic drugs. I've been taking it for about 6 years, which, no coincidence, is exactly how long it's been since I began developing numbness and pain in my feet and legs. Oh, well. :S Anyway, I spoke with my doctor tonight and we discussed the matter. I've been weaning myself off of it, but was wondering if anyone here has any experience with any of the others? Prozac upset my stomach and aggravated the IBS I used to struggle with, so I was wondering if anyone had taken Paxil or Celexa and what side affects they may have. Guest guest
Thank you Gaylen: He did horrble on Lexapro, Zoloft, Luvoxx and a few others tried many years ago..... Celexa altho it did not cause any problems did NOTHNG for the OCD..The newer ones have not been tried due to the problems we think he has with SSRI's....He does better emotionally with antipsychotics but in low doses...higher doses seem to also intensify his problems....Eileen > > If you've tried them all with the same results, I'd suspect that either he > doesn't need a SSRI or that he has bipolar disorder. Guest guest
Hi , Is your son on an antifungal for yeast (and if he is, have you tried others)? My son gets OCD when yeast-y.
