Guest guest
Hello, I had the Voltaren gel prescribed to me early on when my knee started to have problems again. When the pain wasn’t too intense, it worked alright for a period of time. It’s nice because you can apply it directly to the joint so it targets the pain better than swallowing an NSAID and having it treat your whole body in a systemic fashion. It also can save your GI system from havoc if you have been taking a lot of Advil etc. I did have some skin breakdown from it, so just watch for that. They started doing the kineso taping after that, so I couldn’t do both the gel and tape. Best wishes! Guest guest
My experience is similar to others. Voltaran has provided some relief from pain. My pain was associated with tendonitis. It is a gel form of diclofenec, which is a NSAID. My stomach can't tolarate diclofenec or other anti inflamitories, but Voltaran had no side effects for me.
