Have any of you read the eBook " Save Yourself from Patellofemoral Pain

Syndrome! " by Ingraham? It's about $20 and can be found here:

I read it today in desperation to clarify my options of surgery vs. continuing

to live with pain vs. some unknown healing option that is NOT one of the MANY I

have already tried.

In the eBook there is a detailed rehabilitation plan which very simplified

includes one month total rest (basically you have to take off work and just walk

in very small doses and do NOTHING that could hurt your knee including driving,

stairs, cooking standing up, sitting without legs elevated, etc.). It sounds

similar to 's book. And then you add things each month based on the

degree of pain they cause.

I am curious if any of you have ready this or tried the plan. It's a 70ish page

document. I've been researching patellar femoral pain syndrome for two years and

found this to be the most comprehensive and informative piece of literature yet,

but before I consider abandoning my job for a month I'm wondering if any of you

had done this with success.
