Dear FORUM,

Doctor Ajith raises very important points about the treatment protocols and the

inadeuqate training given to HCWs. Many of us very excited about the government

decision to supply ARV at least in certain selected centres in eight states. But

in the abscence of proper training and protocols this can lead to more problems.

In this situation can we prepare a new protocol or modificy the existing

protocols and try to place this before the authorities?

Can new initiatives like APPACHA take this up?.
