How do you people keep your papers uninfected? Guest guest
My Dr. put me on Ivermectin 12mg, 1 dose a week for two weeks. Then, albenazole 100 mg 2 times a day for 10 days. The doxy I did myself as I read on a MOrgellons page that the parasites release bacteria when dying. Guest guest
Put our papers in an airtight ziploc or plastic bin with moth balls, borax or baking soda. Wrapped with saran wrap & will store unopened for a year or more... Treatment with antibiotics would be a choice, and doxy is not a black box drug by any means. If there are live insects like I had, no the doxy alone did not solve my infestation and infection. I had both an infection and infestation. I am pasting something written about lyme testing from a LLMD " Because Borrelia burgdorferi is a chronic persistent infection that may last for decades, you would think patients with chronic symptoms would have positive IgG Western blots. But actually, more IgM blots are positive in chronic borreliosis than IgG. Every time Borrelia burgdorferi reproduces itself, it may stimulate the immune system to form new IgM antibodies. Some patients have both IgG and IgM blots positive. But if either the IgG or IgM blot is positive, overall it is a positive result. 23-25: Outer surface protein C (osp C). 41: Flagella or tail. This is how Borrelia burgdorferi moves around, by moving the flagella. Many bacteria have flagella. This is the most common borreliosis antibody. In my clinical experience, if a patient has symptoms suspicious for borreliosis, and has one or more of the following bands, there is a very high probability the patient has borreliosis. These bands are 18, 22, 23-25, 28, 30, 31, 34, 37, 39, 41, 83, and 93. (Remember, research supports that if just one antibody that is significantly associated with Borrelia burgdorferi is present on a Western blot, 97 percent of those patients with chronic symptoms or chronic diseases feel better with antibiotics.) Guest guest
Hi Mightmaid Paper in the microwave heats unevenly , try the stove at 160 -200 for standard paper , carbon copy type paper like gas reciept are damaged though , they turn black & are ruined What I do is gas paper with a $5.00 rented 20 lb co2 tank from the welding supply ,they fill it for $12.68 here in mich. Prices vary. I put all papers in a box & then put them in the car , place tank in car & open valve ,close & lock door , wait 3-8hrs , get vacuum out place it next to car to look like I am Cleaning my car , hold my breath & open all doors & walk up wind & let the car air for 1 hr , I have found 1 gassing to be effective for 3 months on papers. Also all life forms in the car are killed , but not the eggs , I must repeat to cure the car , in 3 days the conquers the eggs , there may be many many eggs & repeating goes on & on . Co2 attracts predators like mosuitos, fleas, mites & the like so washing the outside of the car with 1 teasp Dawn soap per gallon of water is a good idea while gassing. It might be better to use nitrogen gas instead of co2 . Both are a simalar price , but you get more cubic ft of co2 for the money . Both are non Flamable. I gas my laptop daily n a 2.5 ziplock bag & place it in a 5 gallon bucket with a lid , it keeps it bug free. I never breath even a hint of the concentrated gas it is deadly in this concentration & causes brain damage & kidney failure. here is a very good link to carbon dioxide ( co2) CARBON DIOXIDE, CAVES http://wasg.iinet.net.au/Co2paper.html here is an excerpt from co2 link : ..... Carbon Dioxide (CO2) is the body's regulator of the breathing function. It is normally present in the air at a concentration of 0.03% by volume. Any increase above this level will cause accelerated breathing and heart rate. A concentration of 10% can cause respiratory paralysis and death within a few minutes. In industry the maximum safe working level recommended for an 8 hour working day is 0.5% . Caves often contain elevated levels of Carbon Dioxide (CO2), consequently cavers may be putting themselves at risk without really knowing the full potential danger. #2. Link Fumigation is only one of the ways to kill a bug .Multifaceted approach is best and here is a great ling to fumigationn approahes http://www.fao.org/docrep/X5042E/x5042E01.htm Other ways that have been found effective in preventing and controlling infestations are as follows: 1. Sanitation. 2. Exclusion of pests. 3. Low temperature - " freeze-outs " , refrigeration, aeration. 4. High temperature - heating of mills. 5. Moisture control - grain drying. 6. Aeration - cooling, drying, elimination of temperature gradients. 7. Protectants - chemicals, inert dusts, natural compounds. 8. Residual or contact insecticides. 9. Atmospheric gases - carbon dioxide, nitrogen. 10. Gamma radiation, radio and sonic waves, microwaves, infra-red radiation. 11. Pheromones. 12. Insect growth regulators. 13. Insect pathogens. 14. Predators. 15. Insect resistant packaging. 16. Resistant varieties. An effective integrated pest management system should begin with comprehensive planning to include all aspects of the problem, followed by the application of preventive and control methods... God bless you, Bill ps don't forget the menthol crysal it will drive any bug out of fiding & make the scamper for fresh air ,a great time to wash them in Arm & Hammer Powdered Laundry Detergent 1 cup per gallon . Kils them dead , a & h soap is the end of thes bug , it has cusred 100's of people , 1 cup in he bath & soak for 30 mins , it is painless. ..... bye ! ------------------------------On Sat, Jan 28, 2012 8:51 PM EST miteymaid wrote:>>Not to belabor the point, but would Doxi kill the mite parasites since the only thing right now that points to the Lyme are the two bands 23 & 41 and the mites? Guest guest
Only 30% of Lyme patients got the bullseye rash from the tick bite. If you have Lymes, find the pics on the web. You get a huge target-shaped reddened area on your skin.
