From my experience and that of many others, if the mite cannot be

adequately ID'd and cannot easily be seen, then it usually is D.

Gallinae. It is very small, opaque until after a blood meal, and is the

most hardy, living up to 9 months without a blood meal.

D. Gallinae is my personal suspect, too - since all the misery started with a bird's nest on top of the office building.

Here is a question I always wanted to ask, but always forgot to:

Is it possible that 2 different kinds of mites being present in a bird's nest at the same time.

How about the combination Northern Fowl / D. Gallinae ?

I would think it could be very possible. Especially if roof nests included different types of birds. My infestation was from a sparrow's nest. Others have had problems from pigeons nests. And don't forget that these mites have been found on rodents, animals such as squirrels, etc.

And if so how did u eradicate them?

I am takin samples from my skin where bitten

When bitten usualky tiny white thing at the spot

Not sure if the mite or maybe just skin

But hope nhs dermatologist will be able to examine or send to someone who can

I think the tiny white things are the seeds or baby gel things that go with the bart infection. I've had a whole lot come out of my mouth as I've been treating with olive leaf. I think the mites love it and are attracted to it. Makes sense since they keep bart in their gut.
