Guest guest
Hi C,I'm so sorry to hear you are still feeling biting sensations C. It is a shame you couldn't do injections. Injections bypass the liver and stomach according to my doctor and injections go straight into the bloodstream. Since you have a difficult stomach it would be easier on your stomach. I've had 2 injections now. The needle and process don't hurt, but it is the following days that it becomes really, really sore. Bicillin is long acting penicillin and very thick (like glue) so has to be administered with a large needle all the way into the muscle. My husband is giving me the injections. Things I noticed in just a few days treatment are the following: 1. My stiff hands and the arthritic feelings in my hands have GREATLY diminished if not disappeared. (This was why my LLMD wanted me to do Bicillin).2. Since I started the Fluconazole I'm having no biting sensations. Dr. has put me on high level of Fluconazole, one tablet a day (instead of one every week)... 3. I had a large fungal rash appear under left breast on 4th day of injections. It is resolving now with the Fluconazole and I am keeping it very dry with powder. I believe the antibiotics have put me into more imbalance in general. The Fluconazole has taken care of it. The rash is 1/3 the size it was on the first day.4. I'm actually feeling pretty good... still don't sleep all through the night.I'm still continuing high levels 200 mg of Doxy 2x/day and Rifampin as well 2x/day. So far it is going ok, but no herx. Taking a lot of Vit. C to help the immune system do its job. That helps immensely. Also CoQ10 and fish oil caps for brain function. Probiotics with meals.C, a LLMD can direct any of us on how to use the pet meds... I worked for 3 days at a Vet School in Clinical Sciences here in California... the meds are exactly the same as they are for human beings. You just need to know how to take them and have the support of a LLMD is the best because if a problem pops up, the LLMD has experienced what to do to resolve the problem. My doctor has treated well over 1,000 Lyme patients.Could it be these mites are carrying some type of strange fungus too? Or are we already so full of fungal issues that we are primed for the other infections that they bring? So many questions...Blessings to you C.From: "Sad Girl" <wherearetheangels@...>bird mites Sent: Monday, February 13, 2012 3:03:25 AMSubject: Re: Re: Cheap MedicationsThats good u can do that linda, for you!Though strange that they wud let folk purchase antibiotics without prescription for their animals, not allowed to do that here.In case folk dont know what they doing n abuse it .How are u doing wi ur new meds regime?Im stil bitten tho crawly sensations better. But bites realy get me down hugely.Bein usin benzyol peroxide this week re rita n bills postsBut had really sore bites at 12 pm lastnight, realy upset meHerx too much on samento n stomach spasms wi it so stick to banderolBut I realy would like to take doxy n b done wi bitesAs tried virtualy everuthin to rid o emBut my stomach lining just not up to itTakin ant acids every day for pain now as it isNeed these bites to go however!!!!Hope u r better!x------------------------------On Sun, Feb 12, 2012 17:14 PST Goldstein@... wrote:>I don't think so Marie... Guest guest
Hi Sad Girl Did you ever try these attemts the oil smoothers all life forms & stops all movement , it isn't messy & wipes right off & leave no slippery surfaces when cut with water. And the peroxide mix stops itches in 3 mins , if not try anaothe application 20 mins later , it kills there spreading of bumps & it is painless & cheap here are the mixes I posted : Cure: Hi I soaked in 2 tbls of coconut oil after a borax bath in 1 cup borax & a full tub for 30 mins . The coconut oil soak stopped all crawling now for 2.5 years , I spray the coconut oil 2 tbls & 48 oz of warm water on everything & it stops all movement compeletly , I repeat as needed , it never goes rancid & washes off in just a quick rinse . , good to drink too , 1 oz per day . The best coconut oil is extra virgin Nativa brand 20.00 for 54 oz (any type will work fine) , it smells great & smothers bugs & trips up their travel plans . spray the car seats daily & have no trouble in the car now . Any bite I get I use this mix on it & it kills it on the skin , or in the ears or nose : http://www.earthclinic.com/Pets/dog_mange_cure.html The mix: 2 tblspns borax (20 mule team Borax laundry booster 16 oz peroxide (3%) 32 oz water. mix it , and the borax nuetralizes the peroxide, it is painless & the is no fizz or bruning from this mix & it is cheap If they are deep ones I use 8tblspns borax (20 mule team Borax laundry booster 8 oz peroxide (3%) 8 oz water. For privates betadine applied & left for 5 mins ends all bugs forever ,unless I sit on another one. Betadine is painless rinse well after 5 mins , works for eyes to , I close my eyes wet eye area , apply aboutt 1/2 teasp of betadines , I wait 5 mins with eyes closed well & rinse well & it cures them too. For the face a rag of 1 tbls borax & 1 gallon of waer held on the face wet for 20 mins ends the on the face , I do it daily for 1-2 weeks while I am in shower or while I take a bath as needed . For hair 1 teasp borax in 28 ox of water & spray it deep into hair after a shampoo & leave it , it is invisible & kills scalp bugs fast , usaually takes 3 days of treatment , depending on level of buggyness, Kill it it is a bug , it will die God bless you Sad Girl , Bill ------------------------------On Fri, Feb 3, 2012 3:17 PM EST Marilyn Bentley wrote:>>I havent seen any on me lately, but i still feel them, guess i always will. Guest guest
This whole affair is such a damn mystery. It does breed paranoia too, because we're spending so much time trying to figure out what will work and what this is, especially since we get no guidance from the medical community. So useful to have a place to write it all down, all our thoughts unless too private, just to see what other people are experiencing. It helps with the psyche. I think like Bill, I try not to forget to pray, to meditate, to go into my inner sanctuary to steady myself. Fear can be at the bottom of so many obsessive thoughts.I'm sorry you don't have the beautiful view any more C. I'm sorry that you have lost so much. For everyone here that lost so much, moving, moving, selling property, disposing of clothing and personal possessions, losing kitty, losing relationships and more.C, to what extent do you think things improved with moving? What percentage better do you think you got from your move? Guest guest
Was it a down comforter? I felt so bad that I had to dispose of my down comforter that my son had given us. Guest guest
Yes e The view I had was gorgeous,my second faveourite thing next to my cat n I lost em both, just like that. Alongside nearly all my stuff like 95 percent o my stuff I got rid off I miss a lot o things but cat the most Its just the strangest thing that it can all disapear overnight Now I realise some o the things I could have brought if id cleaned em But I was so freaked out Only people on this site understand We will never be the same again Any of us But as kaz says Its just things We learn to live with less belongings Tho we do miss things But when the day comes when we are free of bites N can wear sheepskin boots again Without fear o infection etc When we can have afection n give afection with fellow humans And just live our lives Without bites Or fear of mites Then for me the hope is That we will never take anything for granted again Not sweat the small stuff N apreciate with every bone in our bodies The good that comes our way ... Because we have suffered so And lost so much Almost our sanity at times even .... But nothing lasts for ever Good times are bound to be on the horizon at some point .... Wish they were right now!!!! Oh patience I guess!!! ------------------------------ On Tue, Feb 14, 2012 07:27 PST miteymaid wrote: >I stopped using my comforter cause it was really hard to get my bugs out of it. Guest guest
Yes linda Its so tough We have to make decisions to help our lives n our health And often snap decisions I strugled as I had make decisions alone And I cudnt for the life of me know at the time Was it helping Wud it help What was right? I asked god But I never knew what his response was We all stumbled into this nightmare blindly Like staggering about in the dark Our whole lives dependent on solutions Very painful solutions Very hard to let go of everything we hold dear ..... I got told by my mum that it wasnt sad I lost my home, view, belongings She said it was my choice to move n throw it all out And that I didnt even have a diagnosis of what bothering me So she thought I stupid n should just stay there n have it sprayed n stay .... She said it all choice And not sad at all!..... Well I said How can it be choice when ur health n sanity depends upon it? How can it be choice when ut clothes, bedding, shoes, furniture is infested? ..n. That is not a choice... U have to protect self best u know! And yes maybe some things could o been saved But at that time It was unknown What is safe What is not ? It like the ground been taken from under ur feet!!! Home is supposed to be a sanctuary away from the harshness of the world How can it give that solace n peace when we are tortured in it!!! Its very awful all of us has suffered this A terrible shame for every single person How hard life can be!!!!!:-( ..... for the first month after moving the crawly sensations still bad Now ii been nearly two months since I moved crawly sensations much better tho get itchy sensations that freak me out But glad crawlies betrer I used to get a lot more bites on feet when in infested flat And I was getin infested at night In my ears eyeballs nose privates Dont get that now Thank god Me n cat were kept awake most o night .... Now its better So the hope is that I wont have to chop my feet off for them to go away!!!! Bites better on hands ,improved So yeah moving was needed Still cant bring myself to visit where I used to live People who havent suffered this dont get it .... But if u are violently forced by biting insects out of a home u loved N I loved that view more than anywhere id ever lived Then it takes a long time to make peace with it in ur head... It takes a long time for all of us to make peace with all of this that we have went n are going through .. But thank god we undestand each other That someone knows what we have went through As we have all gone through the same trauma X ------------------------------ On Tue, Feb 14, 2012 07:34 PST Goldstein@... wrote: >This whole affair is such a damn mystery. Guest guest
Hello C, so glad you are slightly better after moving, but it doesn't seem a drastic improvement. I just wish you could take abx and anti-fungal like I do. As soon as I started the internal treatment, nothing in my home felt infested anymore and I kept every single item and did not move ! It really was like a miracle getting my enjoyable life back gradually. Before treatment I had no life anymore, these nasty invaders dictated how to waste my time by trying to get them off me 24/7. It has been a traumatic horror trip. I truly believe that moving does not help, you only keep taking them with you, no matter where you go. The source lays in our bodies and needs to be knocked down. Guest guest
Aggi,Did you have to change your diet while on the anti-fungals? I noticed today that Itraconazole is used for all kinds of really nasty fungus on the skin. My doctor put me on Fluconazole for 2 months, but after I will ask for the Itraconazole and send away for it. I had to order my Rifampin from India to keep costs down. Guest guest
You are right C, I have always been a person that never took anything for granted, but now I do worship little things even more. I just hope you are going to improve as much as I do. And then maybe one fine day, you can move to a new mite free place with a beautiful view again and possibly enjoy the company of a sweet little cat. Do not forget, that it is possible. Guest guest
Hi Dear, Not really. Reading the patient leaflet it didn't say anything of changing the diet. I am still trying to keep up my healthy nutritian, but also drink my coffee in the morning and allow my self a glass of wine or sweeties if i feel like it. Good that you have found a cheaper source for getting the Rifampin from India. I still can't believe you have got the bites and crawlies back after all that time being mite-free.
