I believe we are getting bit, BUT the attraction to the body is because of the fungal problems. Once bit we get infections. Whatever is biting us is giving us Lyme, co-infections, mycoplasma, whatever. Some people like Doris didn't get any co-infections or Lyme. So not everyone gets it. She moved 3 times I think... and that did it for her, plus sleeping in a bathtub full of water. It is all so perplexing because the Bartonella does cause crawling sensations, scratch marks which are on the surface, and stretch marks, again on the surface of the skin. Lyme disease also causes similar sensations. I think the first time I was infected with Lyme Disease was in the 80's bit while gardening. I got incredibly sick out of the blue, developed what I called Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and for a long time, months, I had a sensation of ants walking on the brain (inside the skull). It helps me enormously. How much of this is topical I'll probably never know... Bill seems to think it is a bug and I can't deny there are not bugs because most of us have found some of them. Guest guest
C- you might also notice other areas of the body twitching or having muscle spasms, tremors, and sometimes a buzzing/vibrating like feeling. If it's too much take a couple days off and resume when the symptoms lessen. You do usually have to get worse before you get better. A few don't herx but most do.Aa On Feb 28, 2012, at 6:35 AM, ILIKE TREES <wherearetheangels@...> wrote: Yes,fourth nite lastnight, better during the day but when try sleep slight fever, tingling all over my body, spasms in my stomach Bites worse late at night after 12pm n itch Tho not as severe as before doxy, feel bit less stabbing bites. Bart especially is known to cause gut issues but the other infections can as well. C- Hope you get some relief soon. Based on my experience and what others have said I do believe the biting sensations and for sure the crawling sensations are nerves malfunctioning. Lyme- borrelia with coinfections causes massive inflammation which effects the nerves. Eventually these sensations change to bad pain as the nerves loose their sheath, then it takes even longer to heal. Don't forget this is going on in the brain as well and causes all kinds of neuro-psych presentations. Treatment really does work. If you can keep doing the samento and banderol, it helps the abx to work even better- per Buhner- reknowned herbalist. You also need a good quality probiotic, take min 3 hrs away from abx, before bedtime is ideal. >> > > > >> > > >Aandraya >> > > > >> > > > >> > > > >> > > >On Feb 23, 2012, at 5:31 AM, ILIKE TREES <wherearetheangels@...> wrote: >> > > > >> > > > >> > > > Thanks Aa >> > > > Shall take two a day then! >> > > > Will eat plenty oats, >> > > > They soothe the tummy >> > > > And camomile peppermint tea! >> > > > >> > > > ------------------------------ >> > > > On Wed, Feb 22, 2012 14:56 PST Aandraya wrote: >> > > > >> > > > >Oops I meant the 100 2 x a day is a standard starting dose. As abx has always triggered fungus for me, I just take a round in between the Doxy treatments. And yes, it is true, starting on the meds was the start into a normal life for me after 2 years of sheer horror... >> > >Are you on Doxy now and how long ? >> > > >> > > >> > >________________________________ >> > >Von: ILIKE TREES <wherearetheangels@...> >> > >An: bird mites >> > >Gesendet: 15:17 Sonntag, 26.Februar 2012 >> > >Betreff: Re: lyme n co infections >> > > >> > > >> > > >> > > >> > >Ah thanks linda x sorry it a struggle for you also!:-( >> > >Yes I take a probiotic just before bed but like u woke in early hours inflamation >> > > >> > >My friend said im bein destructive! >> > >And shudnt damage myself >> > >When I dont even.have a diagnosis o lyme >> > >But I have to try this!! >> > >Becaise all the symptoms I have n >> > >Cannot tolerate pin prick bites >> > >Easy for someone to comment who isnt going thru any of this!! >> > >The bites bring out post tramatic stress disorder in me >> > >Because even though I dont know whether it is still the mites >> > >I panic every time I m bit >> > >Because of the association with mites >> > >So can never rest my mind n feel secure with the bites going on >> > >You know? >> > >Will keep trying but the tummy is so not good!!!:-( >> > >Oh meow!!!!! >> > > >> > >------------------------------ >> > >On Sun, Feb 26, 2012 05:43 PST Goldstein@... wrote: >> > > >> > >I know how that feels, sometimes the treatment feels worse than the original condition. So sorry C about your stomach situation. I have to remember to take probiotics too and that helps the stomach and sleep. My sleep has been very broken up and was up this morning again at 2:30 am. I was in a very low mood yesterday, desperate too. When sleep is bad it gets worse. Believe me, I know about inflammation. That's been a problem for me for years. Hang in there and I will too. >> > > >> > > >> > >Hugs, >> > > >> > > >> > > Re: meds >> > > > > > >> > > > > > >> > > > > > >> > > > > > >> > > > > > >> > > > > > >> > > > > >Hi there >> > > > > >Thats realy good that doxy may have stopped pin pricking. >> > > > > >Do u think ur pin pricks were because of lyme infection n not mites? >> > > > > >My pin prick sensations have got worse recently >> > > > > >Today about thirty mostly big unpleasant sensations soles,of feet >> > > > > >Toes partic second n third toes in both feet >> > > > > >Even one on my arm,two on my legs >> > > > > >Last night they were bad too >> > > > > >Im extremely distressed >> > > > > >As got more agressive with treatment recently >> > > > > >Eg benzyol peroxide ten days all leg hands feet areas >> > > > > >Bathing feet with allsorts every night >> > > > > >And yet its got a lot worse >> > > > > >I am realy upset >> > > > > >Someone else said recently the more they did the worse it got >> > > > > >Do people get more pin pricks when they are herxing? >> > > > > >I recently bought two secondhand wardrobes to put my newly acquired clothes, bedding into >> > > > > >Sprayed nylar inside >> > > > > >And yet so scared cant bring self to take things outa bin bags to put into them!!! >> > > > > >I would be delighted mentaly if I knew the pinpricks were lyme or co infections >> > > > > >Because every time im bitten >> > > > > >The thought that its a mite is makin me deeply unhappy!! >> > > > > > >> > > > > >------------------------------ >> > > > > >On Mon, Feb 20, 2012 07:50 PST Linds J wrote: >> > > > > > >> > > > > >I very rarely post anything but do read all the emails when I have time. I have been on Doxy 300 mg for 6 weeks now along with Diflucan once daily and Nystatin 4 times daily. I haven't had crawlies in months. Pin pricks have stopped as well. 2 days into Doxy I felt some burning which I think is herxing. About 2 weeks into Doxy my joints have all been hurting as well as being nauseous and light headed at times. The Doxy did not stop the crawlies for me as that went away before I even went on it. However, it may have stopped the pin pricking.
