This very idea is what is being examined at this time by the scientists - that's the only any disease gets acknowlegd - if there is enough money in it!! - this study seems very promising for young scientists to make their mark so the huge corporations can capitalise on it. "there are many ways insects, fungus, and bacteria can communicate. if harnessed it would make wonderful medicine," I also belong to an acarolgist forum - most of the researchers are from Asia, but they all share pictures and ID's and high level data mostly on

mites which attack crops - I have nothing to share of course, but it is interesting. There are just zillions of different mites in the world - big money in the control of mites on major crops in the world. Maybe what they learn may one day help the human species????? Maybe not.
