Guest guest
HI, Aandraya!I am glad to hear that you are still improving. You have made such a long journey and I hope you´ll reach the end and become 100% well! Take care! Cecilia From: Aandraya <aandraya@...>"bird mites " <bird mites > Sent: Wednesday, February 15, 2012 8:01 PMSubject: Re: Follow up That is such great news, Elissa. I hope Dr. leaves plenty of trained practitioners behind him. My doctor shadowed him recently and said he's pretty amazing. I continue to improve slowly, presently targeting Babesia which I am finding to be key in my recovery. Stay the course, there is an endpoint to treatment and know of many who are past all this. I have been free of all bugs for 16 months, 1 year of Lyme treatment resolved those issues. I even have a small tree in my apartment and feel okay with that. I still hate seeing any sort of lint ball on my clothes, some remaining trauma. Everyone else hang in there.Abx were what did it for me. I haven't had more than a few little pricks in a few weeks.I do herx midday and feel achy with headache most days, but I take it as a sign the meds are working. Most of my neuro stuff has gotten 90% better.Pregnancy is going well. 17 weeks now. that,.my 1 yr. Old and herxing leave me with no energy for email.I change the sheets 3-4 times a week still. Since mites stopped biting me, they now bite my son when he gets sick...which is pretty frequently these days. This was horrible for me. So I asked dr. jones for an earlier appt. He is a wonderful pediatrician and we're now just waiting on the results.Dr. J and his office staff knew all about mites biting humans. Hallelujah he made us feel sane (we know we are,.but never felt that way after telling a dr. about the mites.I still read 90% of the posts and reply when I feel okay. Finally we will be moving in may and decided to go with nothing! Hopefully with my son on abx, this will be the last of the mites!Elissa

Guest guest
C- I don't know why at night, but I've heard that complaint many times. I've heard people say they get worse around dusk too. And yes, before and during period symptoms get worse. I don't know if I had the tiny holes, I had so much stuff coming out of my skin.AandrayaOn Apr 23, 2012, at 4:14 PM, ILIKE TREES <wherearetheangels@...> wrote: Hi Aa Hope ur well Why does bartonella get worse at night?my feet driving me insane tonite Hand too Got time of month could hormones make bart worse? Guest guest
There is (in the US) a group out of Cornell that says they have a new test for dogs (and horses). It costs $36. Here is their link: http://ahdc.vet.cornell.edu/news/lyme.cfm Basically the C6 test is the most accurate, but this test at Cornell is more definitive. It tells you if the dog has recently been infected or if it is chronic. The primary symptom of Lyme in a dog is being lame. Java had been limping for months. Tried accupuncture, arthritis lotions you name it. But once we started her on Amoxycillin, her limp was gone within 3 days. It has not come back. I never had her tested as her veins are so small and it is so difficult to get blood out of her. She has an annual blood test she has to have for her phenobarbitol. I will see if we can get enough blood out of her then for the additional testing. Just want to see if the Lyme is gone. I KNOW she had it. But she is back to not feeling well and although she is not limping, But I don't know what to do. I am thinking it is the fungus. I am going to see if there is anything she can take, some kind of anti-fungal. I know that Aandraya said that dogs get Lyme and Bart and it would not surprise me if she has both plus Babs... Sigh...more testing and more worrying. It is so much harder to see those we love suffer from this, then it is for us to suffer from it.
