I got a new top of the line Kenmore front loader about four years ago

and I love it. I would never go back to the old top loaders. It does

have one drawback, sort of, that I have to use HE detergent, otherwise

it really doesn't work very well.Lots of people don't like front loaders

because they are not using the HE detergents. With the HE it is great! I

like the spin cycle too. I can choose which one I one, from low to very

high. It has lost of choices as far as wash times, etc.

Just my NSHO

Have you looked at Sears? We buy their large barrel of detergent. It's

less than $30, and I think you get around 230 loads! You only use one

small scoop, and it's made for HE washers.
