I put all my butters in tins. They should be ok as long as there in no water.

Do you make the butters in the tin or just store them in there. Do

you think it woould be a problem if I actually cooled the butters and

stored them in the tin?

safe in what way? since there is no water in butters

the tins won't rust.

I make my butters first and then put them in the tin. But I also make salves

and pour into the tins to let cool.
