Guest guest
I make my own and it depends on the look you want. You need to have an idea of how you want to 'look.' Then you have to decide if you're going with tags or labels. I do wrap my CP soap in cello bags. I am currently using tags. I have also used business cardsized stuffers and on one side print a business card and on the other the product info - which of course is the facing the consumer. What I like about them is they are less fussy and easier to pack - and also if I am doing a custom order for an event a card can be more of a souvenir. Depending on size, and how much content you have and your quality of printer to prevent slippage may help you choose what you are doing. You can only go so close to the edge. Some people work in a photoshop program to be more exacting then the avery label program for example. There are pros and cons to both. I suggest looking at a lot product and decide what you like. There are lots of soaping books that cover ideas on packaging also and can be used as a springboard for what you want to achieve. Or look at a lot of photos on line. Your local library probably has some books you can borrow. HTH Willow --- lungrcp <lunglady@...> wrote: > Help! Available at www.avery.com It's free, simple to use, and very flexible. Cheers, Gord
Guest guest
Thanks for the info on the tags!! I also found that Wilton sells tags that are meant for wedding favors are the perfect size for soap tags! They even have a website www.wiltonprint.com that has lots of free templates! I downloaded and made the tags on cardstock and cut them out with those scissors that make a border. Then got a heart hole puncher and put ribbon through it. Works great!
