It is true for some people, not all. Those people whose credit cards

are tied to non-US bank accounts may have some of their information

turned over to the IRS. The courts decided that the IRS could do this.

It is meant to be a mission to find money that is stashed in foreign

accounts, by people who wish to avoid paying their taxes.
