Guest guest
I have barely felt any activity on my body the past 24 hours. What I did is bought Grapefruit Seed Extract Liquid from Nutribiotic $13. I added 40 drops to a 1/2 cup of water in a small spray bottle. I sprayed myself in the shower with it instead of soap. I rubbed it in to my skin with my hand (not a lengthy massage, just a good brisk rub)and let it sit on my skin for 3-5 minutes. I also added 10 drops to my shampoo and lathered up and let it sit on my hair while I sprayed and rubbed my body. After 3-5 minutes of letting my body soak up the GSE mist I rinsed completely. When I got out, still damp. I sprayed myself down again face to toes with the GSE spray, rubbed it in again and let it air dry. Then I applied my usual Diatomaceous Earth powder neck to toes and got in bed. I have hardly felt any activity on my body in 24 hours. My face had minimal activity today too. I have been sleeping in a cloud of Diatomaceous Earth under my covers and rubbed on to my skin every night. This keeps back the activity quite a lot while I sleep. But doing the GSE and then the DE, what a difference. I don't know if it's just a coincidence, but thought others might want to give it a try if they have some around. (By the way I was washing and shampooing with sulfur soap for the 3 days prior so that may also have cut back the numbers, but the GSE was a marked difference istantly in my opinion.) Tonight I washed in the shower with my usual Dr Bronner's Peppermint Soap and then misted with GSE when I got out of the shower. Laying in bed (same sheets for days now) and no activity on my body. (I'm still figuring out how to eliminate the crawling on my scalp. Also, I found stopskinmites.com last night and am impressed that she created a protocol to get rid of the mites AND the fungus they live on....Cat's Claw seems to be a key ingredient in her protocol. It apparently cleans up your blood internally and topically kills fungus on the skin too...which is what the mites are drawn to according to her, the fungus. She focuses on Collembola but I feel that bird mites are also sticking around on a person for the same thing...the fungus. I have a feeling at least some of the crawling sensation on my scalp might be fungus as she suggests, although my scalp looks pretty normal. She believes the fungus can cause tingling, pin pricks, tickles, and crawling. (Grapefruit Seed Exract is anti-fungal too so maybe an interesting discovery that it diminished my crawling, tickle, biting feeling for 24 hours, which I assumed was caused by mites, but maybe it was caused by fungus.) Her protocol is thorough: Internal, External, and Environmental. She believes in Cedarcide whole-heartedly, but so do I because it has killed them in my environment both times I had them. I just didn't realize I had them again until they were in my hair...or they would already be gone again. Anyway... Here is her original protocol if anyone is interested: http://stopskinmites.com/treatments-overview And here is a more recent and slightly abbreviated protocol: http://stopskinmites.com/skin-mite-updates/52-newsletter-october-20-2011 I also found the site for Naturasil Scabies Products. I made a correlation this week between treating bird mites that are living on your like scabies mites. Mites in the skin are mites in the skin in my book at this point. One poster wrote that it got rid of her bird mites. http://www.naturasil.com/scabies-treatment-cream-120-ml/ I hope this info is useful to someone and many blessings to you all. Guest guest
There are things on list at stopskinmites.com that worked for us and some that were a disaster and way too expensive. An example: Q products. We spent maybe $500 in products and they definitely made our skin worse. They did nothing to kill skin parasites. Do not bother with any of those. But I disagree about the use of ammonia in wash. I found it helps as does spraying it on walls, floors, ceiling, etc. There are other things on the list I disagreed with also. There are people here who had tremendous help from Lysol for example. I used it once but can't tolerate the smell. But good overall for most people. Some people have been helped tremendously by vinegar too. I didn't find it too helpful. MSM was helpful made into a cream on my skin with tea tree oil, but the last time I used it I felt sick from it. Keep posting yellowforty. Good luck. From: "Cecilia Borg" <ceciliaborg@...>bird mites Sent: Saturday, March 3, 2012 8:24:17 AMSubject: Re: Grapefruit Seed Extract, Cat's Claw, Cedarcide, Naturasil Scabies Topical Cream HI!Glad you found something that helped. Guest guest
I had seen of stopskinmites fogged with cedarcide and said that was what got rid of the collembola in her house. I wonder how many people here have successfully fogged with cedarcide and who suffers from a springtail infestation on them and is it similar to mites? She also said that it was the cedar oil that did the killing but according to a study on bedbugger awhile ago it was the silica that did but you wouldn't want to name it silicon spray. I also can't tolerate the Lysol smell, the cedarcide odor is quite strong also. I have down Onslaught and Nyguard but it's good to also use something else where you don't want to keep spraying pesticide. > > There are things on list at stopskinmites.com that worked for us and some that were a disaster and way too expensive. Guest guest
C-My first LLMD had me mix oil of oregano with a lotion(for better absorption) and put it on my whole body before bed- walk around naked while it soaks in, then use "junk sheets" to go to bed and shower next day. That was the protocol. I didn't do it many times, the smell made me sick.AaOn Mar 3, 2012, at 1:33 PM, ILIKE TREES <wherearetheangels@...> wrote: Thank you yellowforty for kindly sendin this Hadnt seen that website before Put strAight oregano oil on my feet today For first time See if helps Never thought of usin cats claw topically before Will do oregano for a week Then cats claw on feet Good have new ideas:-) ------------------------------ On Fri, Mar 2, 2012 21:29 PST yellowforty wrote: >I have barely felt any activity on my body the past 24 hours. Guest guest
C-Yet another common Lyme symptom- loss of smell. How's the Doxy going? Another abx you should consider is Bactrim DS, aka Septra, it is a cheap abx and can be very helpful for these infections.AaOn Mar 3, 2012, at 1:40 PM, ILIKE TREES <wherearetheangels@...> wrote: Oh pity smell made u sick I cam barely smell it But sense of smell not good do maybe thats good in times, like this!! ------------------------------ On Sat, Mar 3, 2012 11:36 PST Aandraya wrote: >C- >My first LLMD had me mix oil of oregano with a lotion(for better absorption) and put it on my whole body before bed- walk around naked while it soaks in, then use "junk sheets" to go to bed and shower next day. Guest guest
For scalp crawling use liquid lye lotion drench hair scalp why hair is dry. Let dry, shower shampoo liquid lye lotion. I have even slept with liquid lye lotion on hair overnight, it is just soap. Or buy 's sulfur shampoo. You can also blend flower of sulfur into liquid lye, blend thimble of olive oil with sulfur first, then blend into liquid lye. > > I have barely felt any activity on my body the past 24 hours. Guest guest
I had great knockdown with cedarcide, but not eradication. Find cedarcide great for animals, ears mostly. Great for scent and less attraction-to me using cedarcide even outdoors. Must add the horse and stable concentrate then make my own solution works fine for me. Taking sulfur internally helped me to. Especially flower of sulfur. Putting DE under carpet helped to. Yes treatment of springtail and mites very similar. I have posted the video showing how to rid yard of springtail. If you have springtail biggest difference from mites, springtails have a nest. Find the hotspots. Springtail were very visible to see when adults, the nymph is like almost invisible to naked eye. Guest guest
Yes I had both, mites and springtails. Springtails the hardest to eradicate. I believe the springtails infest, or cause severe dermatitis. I am better now, but what a battle. Many things tried, few worked, mega bucks spent to. Will never let bird nest on house again and will keep yard foundation treated for prevention. > > > > > > > > I have barely felt any activity on my body the past 24 hours. Guest guest
If I had springtails I would have seen them by now? The entomologist said he found one in the glue trap but so far no mites. He took more samples yesterday but doesn't believe bugs can cross over or survive in the freezer which, of course is my experience. So you think you had both sprint ails and bird mites living on you, maybe in you, definitely in environment. The last time I sprayed came back in two hours and something was popping, agitated, all over my floors same as when I did the huge menthol try. Should have tried sticky tape then. Came back next day and all quiet. > > > > > > > > > > I have barely felt any activity on my body the past 24 hours. What I did is bought Grapefruit Seed Extract Liquid from Nutribiotic $13. Guest guest
http://morgellonspgpr.wordpress.com/category/collembola-springtails/ Show your pest control this. Also known as " Snow Fleas " - Springtails can withstand extremely cold temperatures and can be seen in the winter snow melts jumping about. I read an article the other day that made me laugh because it mentioned something about them being full of anti-freeze - but homeowners won't laugh because this occasional invader is a year round pest. http://www.abcon1.com/blog/6/94-springtails-or-fleas-.html > > > > > > > > > > > > I have barely felt any activity on my body the past 24 hours. Guest guest
Springtails are found year round, but because of a special protein that acts like anti-freeze, this type of springtail is able to survive in cold winter temperatures http://www.pestworld.org/springtail > > > > > > > > > > > > > > I have barely felt any activity on my body the past 24 hours. (By the way I was washing and shampooing with sulfur soap for the 3 days prior so that may also have cut back the numbers, but the GSE was a marked difference istantly in my opinion.) > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Tonight I washed in the shower with my usual Dr Bronner's Peppermint Soap and then misted with GSE when I got out of the shower. Guest guest
So you could see the springtails, Aa? I have yet to see any single anything, just the swarm of dots those two times and the movement on my floor from the spraying and it was so unexpected I didn't try to take a sample. There's a lot of something here, haven't been able to get rid of them and my exterminator got bit last time he sprayed. With all this anecdotal material the entomologist who came over just didn't believe me but will see if anything turns up on the sticky sheets. Guest guest
Not easy to see, very tiny. I figured out what they were with a magnifying glass, but did occasionally barely see them on my skin. Don't know if they bite or not, or just eat dead fungal matter.AaOn Mar 4, 2012, at 4:47 PM, miteymaid <miteymaid@...> wrote: So you could see the springtails, Aa?
