Guest guest
SLS A - Sodium Lauryl Sulfoacetate - much more gentle and kinder to the skin, it too is a powder and works well in bubble baths, bubble bars, etc. There is also Cocamide DEA - (Coconut diethanolamide, coconut oil diethanolamine) This product is derived from whole coconut and contains glycerin for added conditioning properties and is liquid. There is also, Cocamidopropyl betaine, also a liquid and is used in shampoos, bubble baths and liquid handsoaps. Provides good foaming and foam liquid stabilization with excellent wetting properties. ~Jo > > What can we use in place of SLS? > thanks, > cc >

Guest guest
This is so good thanks! So which is more natural or non-toxic and safe? best or least expensive? cc Re: bubbles? Guest guest
Hi CC, Well, none of these are natural all are chemical based but that does not, in my opinion, make them bad. I think your application is going to determine what you use and in what quantity. All of these can be found at the Chemistry Store. I am a firm believer that you need to research and find the answers to your questions. It is in this way that you will retain the information and also stumble upon more facts that aid you in making decisions. I use all three of these in my bubble bars and it makes a huge difference. I did a video on how to make bubble bars and you can find it by searching on Google or videos. This may help you to understand the use of these products in a more useful way. ~Jo > This is so good thanks! > So which is more natural or non-toxic and safe? best or least expensive? > cc > > Re: bubbles? > > > SLS A - Sodium Lauryl Sulfoacetate - much more gentle and kinder to > the skin, it too is a powder and works well in bubble baths, bubble > bars, etc. > > There is also Cocamide DEA - (Coconut diethanolamide, coconut oil > diethanolamine) This product is derived from whole coconut and > contains glycerin for added conditioning properties and is liquid. > > There is also, Cocamidopropyl betaine, also a liquid and is used in > shampoos, bubble baths and liquid handsoaps.
