Guest guest
OK any air tight container minus certain metals. Especially when cooking. Stick with Glass Canning jars seem to be best! Glass jars in general. When using metal use Enamel covered metal, or stainless steal. You could even use glazed cermaic well sealed jars too. Don't uses Poreus ones, will get stale fast. Guest guest
When I was in my retail shop in the winter of 2006, I purchased lots of dried herbs to use in teas and tinctures. Now that the store is no longer open, I have jars of dried herbs all over my studio and am wondering what the shelf life of these herbs are, and since I don't use them any more, if anyone would be interested in them so I don't just toss them out. They've not been exposed to direct sunlight, but they've been out in my studio so they do get indirect lighting from my 3 windows. I would like to keep the jars, but could package and label the herbs in zip-top bags. The herbs would be free, but would ask for shipping to be reimbursed. I just hate to toss them all out. If anyone has a particular herb they'd like, e-mail me off line at kathi@garrison- <mailto:kathi%40garrison-grafixx.com> grafixx.com and I'll see if I have that. Or if someone wants them all (I'd love you forever), then I'll weigh them and we can go from there.
