I am in Germany and got myself a repellent for ticks/mosquitos and biting flies and it works quite well

as in keeping the mites away. I had published the name of the brand plus it's active ingredient on the forum,

but it appears that it is not available in the US.

I can totally visualize that. I had read about wearing a flee collar as well.

So, here I was with my two dogs, each of them wearing a flee collar and me

wearing the same one as them when someone came to the door to deliver a package.

He never said anything but he looked at me, looked at the dogs and then back at

me. I knew I looked pretty frayed and tired but thought he was acting pretty

weird. Then I went to the mirror and remembered what I was wearing. He must

have thought I was pretty batty. But you know, that collar seemed to really

help. I was just worried about wearing it because of all the warnings on the

package. Did you have concerns about that?

I went to sleep with one on each ankle and 2 around my neck. That was great but

my middle was not protected and neither my arms. I stretched out and laid my

face on my folded arms, That was it! They were on me. So my husband went back

and got 4 more today. Let's see how it goes with 8 tonight!

I will be cheering you on! I was told by a Pest Control Tech to go and buy some

surgical masks as they keep germs out....but as I recall, those are pretty

loose. Maybe they keep germs out, but not sure about mites. But I can check

them out.

So, I added 2 more last night. One around each wrist. There were way, way fewer

crawly things on me this morning. Plus! I bought an herbal lice treatment at

Leaves & Roots and put that in my hair before I went to bed. I have questions I

will post in a separate post.
