Guest guest
I hope my head isn't PERMANENTLY failing, was what I ment to say :-))) The ER doc just called back. After confering with my cardio, he told me to skip the metoprolol dose (a betablocker) this evening and the amiodarone tomorrow morning. Then everything should be fine. Also if I should have the long QT syndrome (gene test pending). Good. Thanks for listening, Janne > > This morning I took a double dose of my meds by a mistake. Guest guest
Janne, I have done something like that... I take metoprolol once a day and 2 Metformin' s twice a day for my diabetes... the pills look a lot alike, and one day I took 3 of the Metformin in the morning, and realized that when I went to take my evening pills and saw the metoprolol. I was told that it was okay, but to be more careful... Guest guest
Hi turk, Nice to hear from you. I'm not sure what you mean, here. Are you saying that taking an acciental overdose of this drug once or ttwice lowered your blood pressure below where it was supposed to be, but didn't have any other undesirable effects? Maybe I'm wrong. If so, could you please correct me? Thanks a lot. Accident Date: Saturday, January 17, 2009, 5:53 AM This morning I took a double dose of my meds by a mistake. Guest guest
Hello ; Thats correct. In my case my usual blood pressure is normally 110 over 75 and after taking my doses accidentally i had a 85 to 90 over 60 for about an hour i think and just felt sleepy. I think everyone reacts differently to that situation, it all depends on your body. I had no other undesirable effects. Guest guest
turk, Thanks for confirming what I thought you must mean. You're right. That's not exactly the scariest thing in the world. It's pretty benign in the way of " disasters, " I'd say. (smile) Accident @groups .com Date: Saturday, January 17, 2009, 5:53 AM This morning I took a double dose of my meds by a mistake.
