Guest guest
Absorbtion. Tincture under the tongue gos directly into blood plasma, where as ingestion is just that ingested. If mixing tincture with liquid the capsules are just as beneficial, in my opinion. http://herblore.com/service/index.php?pg=article_tinctures To take a tincture, it is best to take the drops directly under the tongue. This gets the herb directly into the bloodstream. If necessary, it is fine to dilute the tincture in a small amount of water or juice to drink. It may be flavored with lemon or honey to disguise the taste. (Note: never give honey to a child under one year of age.) You may also put the droppersful of tincture into a cup of warm or hot water for an instant cup of herbal tea. Heat your water first, before adding the herbs. Heating the herbs in a microwave may kill or weaken their healthful benefits. > > > > Interesting. Hulda 's combo of black walnut hull, cloves, plus other things included, except no wormwood. Guest guest
Oh no Terry. Sorry for the confusion. I was just comparing ingredients. Hulda was/is a famous herbalist from Canada. I used to do her parasite cleanses and liver and kidney cleanses a few times a year. She passed a few years ago. She was a big advocate of the zapper to kill bacteria, viruses and parasites. She published several books and her son has a website for ordering solvent free products like natural soaps, shampoo, etc. She believed solvents played a role in cancer along with parasites. That product looks very good! From: "mitesbegone" <no_reply >bird mites Sent: Friday, April 20, 2012 3:32:16 PMSubject: Re: Ever heard of these productsI am sorry, who is Hulda ? Guest guest
Yesterday my Acupuncturist showed me a book by Hulda Regehr and said I should contact her. Today I googled her name and one of the many sites that came up was Wikipedia. I read it and then went to check out other sites. One of the many things she made claim to heal was cancer. Too bad she couldn't heal herself. She died of cancer in 2009. I have to dismiss everything by her as quackery. That's what I am so afraid of in this journey. Quackery. Sharon > > > > Interesting. Guest guest
Rest assured this is a no quack post, Please let me know if you faind any other approaches to exterminating this bug & its palls it bring along ( fungus, mold, worms ) Thanks , Bill ps : Mites and farmer tricks link bird mites/message/10634 I don't know where you people are from, whether it be city, or too far north to know this, but " mites " are nothing new, and there is nothing " foreign about them. I was raised, and still live in Louisiana, which is called, " semi-tropical. " I was raised on a farm/ranch. There are so many different types of mites, that bite, that I will not begin to try to list many; I will give a few examples. Warm blooded animals get lice; plants get lice; they are not the same type of lice. the " lice " that infest your turnip green patch, will not bite you because it suddenly " got warmer " in the US. The mites and lice that infest your chicken house, will not be satisfied with sucking on turnip greens; but they will crawl all over a human and give you the " itch " for many days after you have gotten rid of the mites. There are " redbugs, " picked up from walking through grass, brush, or sometimes dirt. They will burrow under your skin and make you want to take a wire brush and shed your won hide off. There are seed ticks that will cover you from brushing against the wrong tree limb, or infest your living room when you buy that " real " tree at Christmas. The " Mange " in dogs, or as we humans dislike having to call it, " Scabies, " that will infest you and all your pets. There are hog lice, chiken mites, Sarcopic mange, ring worm, ( & scores of other funguses from cattle and horses and dogs), that humans can get. There is the " creeping crud, " a fungus, that sometimes does not show to the naked eye for months, but will make you claw until you bleed, usually starting at the ankles and working up; it lives in the soil. While we back woods, country people may call all these vermin and varmints funny names, and we may seem stupid to some, we know these critters you are talking about; they were here in the US long before you went overseas. It is just as possible that you caught it from your Georgia tent mate when he returned from leave, as it is that you caught it in Iraq, or some other " hot " place. We have put a couple of cap fulls of pine oil or bleach in our bath water for years; we have cleaned our houses with pine oil for hundreds of years. We have dabbed pine oil, turpintine, and sometimes if desperate enough, coal oil, on redbugs, (and various other critters that attached themselves to us), to kill them for hundreds of years. We have coated ourselves in various kinds of fats, mud, and paste to keep them off, and to kill them when they decided to live on us anyway. We have bathed in baking soda, salt and epsoms salt to keep from itching; smeared paste from mustard, baking soda and tobacco to help. We have taken the " skin " from egg shells and pit on bad bites, to draw the " itch " out. We have chewed on the sulphur ends of hard matches, and made a paste out of " flowers of sulfur; " which bugs hate the smell of, and it keeps the bites from getting infected. One of the bad things about itchy bites, it all that scratching and hot, blooding flesh, attracts even more critters. As for borax; you can buy " 20 Mule Team " borax powder; it's been around longer than any of us. We wash with it, neutralize orors with it, remove stains with it, etc. Most of all, down here, we have been rubbing it on our meat in our smoke houses for ages; flies won't even light on it. we just wash it off when we take it out to eat. I heard in the eighties, that they were " blowing " recycled, chipped up, news papers into the walls of old historical homes to insulate them. Guess what they were soaking the news paper in prior to drying and chopping it up? That's right...Borax. Not only does it kill bugs, repel bugs, repel rodents and prevent them from chewing and nesting in the paper insulation, but it makes the paper fire retardent. You can make your on roach and ant bait with it by mixing it with flour and sugar, or just corn syrup and Borax. You can use it like carpet fresh, and you can wash your walls and floors and counters with it; use it as a paste for scrubbing; just don't rinse it too well, and you will see a lessening of itchy critters. And for people that want their clothes clean, but do not like fragrance fumes, etc., it's the best for your laundry. If the varmints are eating your ankles up, mix some borax with your lotion or vaseline; it will repel them and has antibiotic properties Summary : Borax$3.99 Mustard 2.00 skin of egg $1.99 haven't tried that one yet coaltar shampoo 5.99 pinesol $4.00 bleach .69 sulphur $12.00 www.Americarx.com baking soda $1.00 tobacco $4.00 fats .01 off a steak mud $.00 and make s paste Pretty cheap ! Guest guest
This is true to my knowledge. She had some wonderful theories and ideas. Many people benefitted by her knowledge, so I do not agree. She was not a quack. Beware of people who call someone else a quack. didn't have all the answers. Guest guest
Sharon,Yes, H. died from cancer, so her theory about parasites causing cancer seems weak. A lot of people were helped that had cancer from what she prescribed. Some of it involved cleaning up their environment at home from solvents and toxins. She did not know or understand the whole cancer connection and many other died that were not cured. She died from bone cancer. I still think there is validity in some of her work. For cancer cures that are natural I would not look to H. . Western medicine doesn't offer a lot that works with cancer either. For example, I was with my younger brother 3 years ago at Stanford University Cancer Center (well respected) when the oncologist there said he would be cured of his non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma. He actually said "cured." That was an untruth. He died a year ago. Western medicine can prolong a life sometimes by treatment. From: "healinghope" <mfrreman@...>bird mites Sent: Sunday, April 22, 2012 10:08:15 AMSubject: Re: Ever heard of these productsSharon still sending out hugs, please do not feel offended:) we all are entitled to our opinions. > > > >> > > > Interesting. Guest guest
You are kind. I am having a lot of very bad days wondering " where did I get this? " " what is it? " . " Who do I go to for help? " Bathing in this and spraying that! It's unreal!!! I feel like someone has put a curse on me. How my happy life changed in one day!!! What I'm confused about is this. In the first month or so I was able to escape these crawly things for a day or so but not now. 1)I moved from my bed to the sofa bed and had a good night's sleep, the first night, then they found me. 2)I slept in my van a few nights and, though it was uncomfortable, I slept, bug-free. When I decided to bring out my bedding and make it more comfortable, the bugs followed, even though I put everything through the dryer for 45 minutes on high heat. 3)I bought an air-mattress and slept on it bug-free for the 1st night and then they found me. 4)I went to a conference and stayed one glorious night without bugs. 5)one night at 3AM I was delirious from lack of sleep so I sterilized my air-mattress and drug it into my office to sleep. In the morning I woke up with my body covered from head to toe with crawling things. I was traumatized in my body and soul. It was a horrible experiece. All I could say to my husband was " They're coming out of my skin! 6)The other night I went out to dinner with a bunch of girlfriends and about 9PM I began to feel " sproing " , " sproing " , sproing " . They really are coming out of my skin. It is 9:07 right now and they are popping at this very moment. I am totally losing my mind!!!! My doctor thinks it's humorous and is referring me to an allergist. As I sit her with them crawling all over me I can't bear anotehr day!!!!!! > > > > > > > > > > Interesting. Guest guest
It is tough to know what to believe in and who to believe. But I believe there are people who have knowledge of this problem as well as people who have knowledge of how to fix it both externally and internally and many are in this forum. Sure we will stumble over a few non-starters, but never give up. That is what I keep telling myself... " never give up! " . so hang in there, Terry > > > > > > Interesting. Guest guest
I agree. Western medicine does not know about cure. My dad was diagnosed with lung cancer 5 years ago. Had surgery and was " cured " , then a year ago, he had a tumor reappear in his lungs. He died a few months later. Same thing with my sister...ovarian cancer. She never survived. Cancer is not an easy or curable disease in my opinion. At least not with conventional medicine. Terry > > > > > > > > > > Interesting. Guest guest
Sharon, I absolutely and completely understand. I too have felt them all over me and in me. I have not been able to rid myself of them. I went to a hotel and it took me two days to recover from them. They would not leave me alone and this was after I had scrubbed myself down and practically flew out the door and scrubbed myself again when I got inside my hotel room. Still would not leave me. I could not go out with anyone because I would feel them crawling all over me. But after a few days in the hotel I am now starting to feel normal. I am considering what my next steps should be. Should I stay and fight or flee. If I flee I might have to get rid of all my stuff so I wouldn't take it to the new place. So I face a dilemma. I will try and make a decision soon, but for now, just chilling in the room with my dogs with me who are no longer scratching and miserable. It has been wonderful to just get back to sanity. But when you are in it, living it, it consumes your life and destroys your peace every second of every day. I hope you find a way to rid your house of this plague and your body of their unwelcome presence. You will survive this...just take each minute as it comes. Continue to pursue options to get rid of them...whatever they are. It is important to try and figure out what it is, even if it is a best guess. Then you can make a plan to rid your home and self of them. I have no answers. But I have hope, and the great people in this forum to turn to. I hope that will be enough. Bless you, Terry > > > > > > > > > > > > Interesting. Hulda 's combo of black walnut hull, cloves, plus other things included, except no wormwood. But lots of other things. Guest guest
Hi Birdluvr Wash everything & I mean everything :u the house , car, side walks etc . in Arm & Hammer Powdered Laundry Detergent 1 cup per gallon of hot water (not the liquid type ) daily, spray 2 tbls coconut oil & 1 cup epsom salts & 48 oz of warm water on everything . . Use s chapin brand sprayer from ace , they don't plug up. , I like the 48 oz on like a plant mister Electronics ,(cellphones, wallets keys pocket items , purse items put in a plastic bag with 3 tbls baking soda & shake bag daily . This stopped them for me God bless you , Bill ps : more in detail info below Maybe try a 30 min bath in 1 cup borax & 1/8 cup Dawn soap to smother them & soak them out of the skin , like the farmer suggests. Then rinse & fill the tub up as much as u like add 2 tbls coconut oil to the tub & dip in under the water to coat the skin & leave it on iver nite , that will help snuff them. Then pull out the air matress , deflate, roll up & stuff into 1/2 cup Arm & Hammer Powdered Laundry Detergent in a 5 gallon bucket ,soak for 1 -8 hrs , dump bucket , rinse air matress, drip dry for 5 mins , spray hard floor area with with 2 tbls coconut ol & 48 oz of warm water over 77 degrees (coconut oil is a solid at 76 degrees) , place air matress on floor & mist with 2 tbls coconut ol & 48 oz of warm , wipe dry , place hair dryer on air mattress to dry well for 10 mins, reinflate air matress w/ hairdryer on coolshot ,it takes 90 seconds . Sleep bugless ...ahhhhhhhhh.. Bugs can't navigate oil , they get stuck in it.. Don't forget to pray the cieling , they are spider like & wil drop from the cieling on their prey. You are smarter than they are. You will win , stay consistant , use Arm & Hammer Powdered Laundry Detergent for the clothes . 1 cup epsom salts dissolved for 4 ,ins in 48 oz of water in a sprayer from Ace hard ware works wonders for stoping the bug too. I spray it on srfaces & it dries to a glaze on them trapping all life forme in a hard glaze , entoming the bug , it also deters bugs . Epsom tase masty & burns their eyes. A bath once per week in 1 cup Arm & Hammer Powdered Laundry Detergent ( sunburst version because it dosent smell like scented ) This bath ended the bugs life on my skin & healed up all cuts fast for me . For bad area on the skin I apply this peroxide mix, it too is painless like the a & h (powder only soap , not the liquid ) http://www.earthclinic.com/Pets/dog_mange_cure.html The mix: 2 tblspns borax (20 mule team Borax laundry booster 16 oz peroxide (3%) 32 oz water. mix it , and the borax nuetralizes the peroxide, it is painless & there is no fizz or burning from this mix & it is cheap & works wonders , I hit any bite I get instantly with pocket bottle I carry in a small hand sanitizer bottle. If they are deep ones I use 8tblspns borax (20 mule team Borax laundry booster 8 oz peroxide (3%) 8 oz water. Clothes Dryers don't kill the bug very well ,Arm & Hammer Powdered Laundry Detergent does jill it , mop the floor with it 1 cup per gallon & leave it on , hope the floors are white , they will be after that ------------------------------ On Sun, Apr 22, 2012 9:09 PM EDT birdluvr4evr wrote: >You are kind. Guest guest
I saw a letter someone wrote to the CDC and they referred her to her dr or to an infectious disease specialist. Forget my dr! She thinks I'm imagining it. " So, you have things crawling on you but nobody has seen them " , smirk! Smile! But, there's something in that letter I didn't know about - an infectious disease specialist. I looked in my provider book and there are 10. So, I called one to see how long I would have to wait for an appointment and if they have ever treated skin parasites. The wait will be about 2 weeks and the receptionist told me " yes, people have come in who have claimed to have skin parasites " That statement tells me a lot. " claimed to " says to me they haven't found anything. I will need a referral from my dr. I'm sure i can get it but I'm not sure I'll go that route yet. Will call some of the others to see if they claim success. Sharon > > > > > > > > Interesting. Hulda 's combo of black walnut hull, cloves, plus other things included, except no wormwood. Guest guest
Most ID doctors are pretty useless with this stuff, they are among the worst to treat Lyme and coinfections.AandrayaOn Apr 23, 2012, at 1:30 PM, birdluvr4evr <no_reply > wrote: I saw a letter someone wrote to the CDC and they referred her to her dr or to an infectious disease specialist. Guest guest
I completely understand. Sometimes I think it is harder to have the skeptical looks then the disease or problem. Especially when you have to endure that along with their unwillingness to help. It is not just a waste of time, but even further demoralizing. I was going to look up a doctor of infectious disease as well to see if I could see them...but still holding out hope for the LLMD. Terry > > > > > > > > > > Interesting. Guest guest
Hi Bill, did you have bird mites? Did you ever have any other infections that you know of? Also, the recipe for mange??? Did you use that on yourself? Or your dog? I have myself and two dogs so am wondering if I can just use the same recipe on all of us. I am trying to find someone to help with spreading the carpet powder and the fumigation efforts. I have just been exhausted. This has really worn me out. Thanks so much, Terry > > >> > > >> Sharon still sending out hugs, please do not feel offended:) we all are entitled t > > >
