Guest guest
Andraya and all, thank you so much for the support. I got an email earlier from my endo in San Diego. She is going to fax a lab request to one of the local labs to be tested for Lyme disease. Is this the correct first step? I know there are so many different strains of Lyme disease, but I figured I would start here. However, if any of you have any better suggestions about what to be tested for, I bet she would modify the lab request to reflect that. I will wait to hear back from you all before going to the lab. She has to fax the request into whichever lab I pick. Thanks so much everyone....Terry > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Hi everyone, > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > I was wondering how many of you find black, red > > and blue > > > > > > > fibers > > > > > > > > > all over you? > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Has anyone tried running a lint roller over your > > body, > > > > > > > clothes, > > > > > > > > > bed > > > > > > > > > > > sheets, scalp, etc? > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Whenever I do this, the lint roller ends up with > > hundreds of > > > > > > > > > > > thousands, of black, red and blue fibers. Guest guest
Hi Terry, Is this one of the specialized labs? Igenex or LabCorp? I've been advised to only use specialized labs for things like Lyme disease because the disease will not show up in other lab testings and you will just waste your money. Some people here know a lot about testing, so wait for their responses. Best, Jess On 4/24/2012 4:50 PM, mitesbegone wrote: Andraya and all, thank you so much for the support. Guest guest
Igenix is gold standard for Lyme testing. Lab Corp is a junk lab, their CD57 test is very helpful though.AandrayaOn Apr 24, 2012, at 5:05 PM, jessnyc <helpnynow@...> wrote: Hi Terry, Is this one of the specialized labs? Igenex or LabCorp?
