Truly said, but a lot of the people on this site do not have Morgellons, like Doris and Bill and others. They have something probably with mites, plus some kind of fungal / pond scum invading the body and probably parasites, but no Morgellons symptoms. Isn't M defined as fibers coming from the body? I don't know if the black specks quality as Morgellons but to me they are one and the same. Not sure if others would agree. I had the mold/pond scum and the fibers. Thus, I have Morgellons. :(From: "jessnyc" <helpnynow@...>bird mites Sent: Monday, April 30, 2012 8:03:25 PMSubject: Re: Re: Got the results back from Entomologist

Hi ,

I do remember Rose saying she was around 90% better, not sure if it

ever got to 100%. I didn't follow Zoe too closely... not sure.

But I remember a report on CNN where they said that the few doctors

who treated Morgs had tried anti-parasiticals, antifungals and

antibiotics, and that they only had (some) success with antibiotics,

only in some people, and on those in whom it worked, it was

temporarily.

That's the impression I got from people on this newsgroup as well.

Is it really? I am sure it is "treatable", I have my

doubts whether it's "curable."

So far, I haven't heard of anyone being cured.

Does anyone here know anyone who's been fully cured?

Thanks,

I don't know about that. Unless you have the fibers coming from a wound, and

can see it do that, then perhaps you do not have Morgellons. I don't know if we

know enough about the disease to truly diagnose it. And there isn't a test you

can take, is there? I am choosing to ignore any " fiber " like things as they are

not big, they can only be seen under a microscope, so I am going to say that I

don't have Morg. But I will let the doctor decide that for himself. If I have

it, then that is just one more thing to battle. OH well, Terry

Well Dang! Then the question would be, is there a propensity of people exposed

to the mite/bacteria/fungus to get Morgs? If that is so, then why would we not

all just run from our homes as fast as possible??? Or if there is no

connection, is it just happenstance because our immune systems are so weak?

Jess, I had the glittery specs all over, especially on couches and car seats, they're totally gone after almost 6 months abx treatment.

I had glitter specks too! I didn't know so many people had them.I don't know the reason for them, but I can give you my theory: I personally believe these fungi picked up debris. I had a silver colored makeup box. After a while, the box started to lose gradually its silver paint and then at about the same time I began finding silver (glitter) particles everywhere, so I made the connection. Check your stuff, do you have anything with silver paint that has faded away? This is just my hypothesis, not sure if it's the actual explanation, but it makes sense to me considering I saw the same behavior with other materials (such as ink.)Jess

I don't think bill has morgellons. He says he has never really seen his mites.

Same with me, mine are totally microscopic and can be seen with a 60 x pocket

scope. I was fortunate to have a vet diagnosis my cat, as she had a lesion

above her eye. I believe what Bill has is a wild animal mite that is zoonotic

to humans. They aren't human scabies mites; they aren't bird mites, either,

because most bird mites are barely visible to the human eye. Mine is truly

microsopic. And vet said SARCOPTIC MANGE MITE. Bills are different in that his

last LONGER in his environment than mine. He has no lesions, no fibers, and

doesn't see black dots in his environment. Is this considered morgellons? I

believe that these mites have morphed into some type of resistant mite to meds,

and no people on this forum have fungal issues, or lyme issues, so yeah, it's

quite complicated. Has ALOT to do with immunity issues, though.

I do too Sharon :-) But as I kept all me belongings and the glittery stuff is gone now, there surely was a connection with the mites there...

May I add that, though he thinks it will, what works for Bill doesn't work for

me. Arm & Hammer has totally burned my skin and covering my air mattress in

Coconut Oil last night resulted in one of the worst infestation of mites so far.

I vacuumed thoroughly, scrubbed with ammonia, worked hard to prepare for a good

nights sleep. NOT! I woke up so covered I was afraid to walk to the bathroom for

fear of leaving a trail of them. I HATE THIS!!!!!

We went out of town with our daughter today, to have lunch with an elder

relative in a town about 1-1/2 hours away. I had taken 2 showers & 2 baths

before I went because of the major attack last night. I should have used lice

shampoo but didn't. I was miserable the whole day and was using Tea Tree Oil,

for naught, & packing tape the whole way. I am terrified my daughter & elderly

distant cousin will get these damned things!! Nevermind the sheer number of them

deposited in my van the 3 hours we spent riding. There are days I am " clean " and

can go anywhere freely but today was definitely not one of those days.

As soon as we got home I stripped & put my clothes in the washer and put on lice

shampoo - pretty much all over me. I sat at my desk to check my e-mail and wait.

I felt activity in my nose & snorted. There are 2 dead white mites on my desk. I

can see them with my naked eye but not clearly enough. My magnifying glass and

binoculars are no help. I've looked on Craig's list and see a couple of used

microscopes for around $100 & think maybe I'll get one. When I go see them maybe

I'll take my specimen and ask the seller to show me how to use it with them.

Even though I've bathed in Epsom Salts & Clorox & done the Lice Shampoo I still

feel the crawlies. When I feel it on my scalp I know for sure they are there. Is

the Lice Shampoo not working anymore? Times like this is when I believe my body

is manufacturing these things.

I don't think he does either gloria. It doesn't mean he has not had a hard time, he has, but he gets this stuff he has into a remission for a long time. He is very gutsy with all the things he has tried and I really like him and respect him! And love all the bible references too. Bill is awesome. From: "gloria123445566" <no_reply >bird mites Sent: Tuesday, May 1, 2012 1:57:28 PMSubject: Re: Got the results back from EntomologistI don't think bill has morgellons. He says he has never really seen his mites. Same with me, mine are totally microscopic and can be seen with a 60 x pocket scope. I was fortunate to have a vet diagnosis my cat, as she had a lesion above her eye. I believe what Bill has is a wild animal mite that is zoonotic to humans. They aren't human scabies mites; they aren't bird mites, either, because most bird mites are barely visible to the human eye. Mine is truly microsopic. And vet said SARCOPTIC MANGE MITE. Bills are different in that his last LONGER in his environment than mine. He has no lesions, no fibers, and doesn't see black dots in his environment. Is this considered morgellons? I believe that these mites have morphed into some type of resistant mite to meds, and no people on this forum have fungal issues, or lyme issues, so yeah, it's quite complicated. Has ALOT to do with immunity issues, though.>> , how do you know Bill doesn't have Morgellons? I like Bill ALOT. He is so helpful and tries so hard. Can I tell a story? he

he he. He used bricks to weigh down his clothes in the boiling pot. Okay, so a

long time ago, I was boiling stuff (which I don't have to do that anymore, thank

God!!) and I accidentally got a brick wrapped up in the blanket when I went to

wash it, the brick totally trashed the lining in my brand new washer. Big deep

breath!!! lol.....

Hi Sharon,

Oh my, you are getting hid bad!!! I'm so sorry.

I'm a big believer in decreasing my number by taking ivermectin during stressful

times. It is an anti-parasitic and help me and my dogs tremendously.

The type of air mattress you need is the Ozark from Walmart Camping section for

$12. Twin size. NO VELOR OF ANY KIND, PLEASE. Just sprahy it down with bleach

and water, or spray it down with rubbing alcohol, or CLOROX WIPES, doesn't

matter which " flavor. " or take that twin sized mattress into the show and shower

it down with warm water from the shower hand held thingie. dry it off and use

it again. You should have no bites that night. unless the mites are living in

the carpet underneath it, then you will need to place a cheap shower curtain

plastic/vinyl from walmart under the air mattress. this can be cleaned easiliy.

if you have troubble sleeping, there are meds you can take. like a benadryl

tablet which helps you sleep and reduces itches, too. or ask your doctor for

something for your totally stressed out body to get some sleep..

there is a website called doyourownpestcontrol dot com and they sell CYONARA , a

knockdown and residual, and the INSECT GROWTH REGULATOR, like Nylar or s

may keep the mites from forming into fully developed mites. spray this in your

car when you get out of your car. remove your carpeting in your car and

replace with vinyl car mats or rubber car mats, whatever. i just spray the seat

too every once in a while. it keeps the car pretty good. effing mites. grrrr

My son wasn't bothered much by these when he was here, but of course, he was

young and healthy, so nothing for him, lucky guy..

pets are hard to keep in control. they get iver every once in a while, too, and

lots of baths in selenium sulfide shampoo, which has a form of sulfur in it. or

whatever i have and then i condition them. spoiled brats. love them. my cat

ignores me. and me and her just have passing thoughts of attempting to bath her.

she has claws that open up on me and present holes in my shirts.

it seems in the van or cars, they have more moisture in them, and you need a

really dry environment for the mites to die out. the cars are difficult. every

time i tried to vacuum, they just shot all over me, so i just spray poisons and

they quiet their butts down.

just thinking you need to get your numbers down and ivermectin works for me.

I HAVE HEARD THAT THERE ARE SOME RACE HORSE OUT THERE who have a very persistent

parasite, and they are treated with ivermectin for their entire life, so I'm

still kicking (no pun intended).

You can think about it. And research it, and then research it some more.

take care of you.

I'm so happy to hear when someone has success in ridding themselves of this

horrible affliction. It's amazing that what works for one doesn't work for

another. I'm glad Bill has achieved freedom or semi-freedom. We'll never know

what works unless we try everything that comes down the pike. I am willing to

try just about anything. I am in between doctors right now since I changed

Primary care docs and can't get an appt with the new one till the 23rd. I really

need to journal my journey and maybe go to a walk-in clinic again.

I'm doing the 2nd round of lice shampoo since I got home from our day trip. 1st

time I sat for 1/2 hour - prescribed time is 10 min. After all was said & done I

continued to feel lots of activity. This time I've been sitting here for over

1/2 hour & I still feel activity. Maybe because it's Equate - Walmart brand? I

think I'll shampoo and go get NIX the name brand.

Gloria: That's exactly what I've got - the one from Wal-mart with the velour. I

chose it because it is the highest - 19 " off the floor. I'm old & fat and I

thought it would be the most comfortable to sleep on but every attempt has been

like this. I just soaked the velour with Basic G - Shakleee but I think I'll

wash the lice shampoo out of my hair & run to Wal-mart to buy a new air

mattress, sans velour & some name brand lice shampoo.

Then I'll go to a walk-in clinic and ask for ivermectin. I think I need

something more because I can't stop crying. Depression is setting in big-time.

When I told my husband that my PH is high Alkaline, making me a chief candidate

he is after me to stop eating healthy. Now he is critcising me for being on here

looking for help and answers. I guess he's at the end of his rope, too.

I have kept my beautiful youngest daughter at a distance since this calamity

befel me. She thinks she should be the one to decide whether or not she wants

contact with me and be subjected to this. She went with us on the road trip

today. She has a very thick head of beautiful curly hair and I am scared to

death since I am having such a hard time killing these things on my scalp today.

Having a very bad day here.
