I didn't use one spray..tried them all and what really made things smell fresh and totally killed anything in the air was the 90% denatured alcohol sold at Loew's.

But careful, I melted a lot of things with it. Anything that is glued together, the alcohol will melt it. Many things came apart. And also, wear a mask, it will make you very dizzy and effect your brain.

My bubble offered me sleep in the end. If I never had to go to work or had to go to the kitchen, I would have stayed in my bubble until they fetched the nets for me!!

Anyway I didn't need to go to the kitchen, my immune system was so low, I had no appetite. The last time I went to my kitchen was when I caused a fire in the micro oven zapping the mites in my shoes.

This is what my bubble looked like -- a tent on top of a metal frame bed and an air mattress. The plastic cover totally contained the mattress and everything. The legs of the bed were covered with vaseline so that nothing could climb up. It had a plastic flap which was my entry and I could zip it up with a zippper I bought at Lowes. The tent was tall enough that I could sit inside with my Lap top or just watch TV - the flap was clear plastic, so I could see out.

But even though I could sleep, I couldn't live... looking for another way to beat them all the time, spending more money..I never went home without buying something on the way from the hardware store or ordering some gadget on line. Spent thousands...I lost everything in this battle and finally gave up - glad I did. Still scared to death of carpets though!!!

I want to know more about your bubble tent. I do spray but I don't know how effective it is. I use some of the mixes I've seen on here, Lysol spray, a solution of Shaklee Basic G - if you're not familiar with Basic G - you can find out more at this link. http://www.allnaturalhealthylife.com/natural-cleaners/shaklee-basic-g-facts-and-usage/ it kills all kinds of viruses and bacteria. Why not Mites???Sharon > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Hi everyone, > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > I was wondering how many of you find black, red and blue > > > > > > > fibers > > > > > > > > > all over you? > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Has anyone tried running a lint roller over your body, > > > > > > > clothes, > > > > > > > > > bed > > > > > > > > > > > sheets, scalp, etc? > >

I think Doris used a tent on a bed frame. I wouldn't sleep directly on the floor if it were me. Too easy for them to crawl into.L.From: "birdluvr4evr" <no_reply >bird mites Sent: Saturday, April 28, 2012 8:20:26 PMSubject: Re: for Birdlover- I used denatured alcohol for sprayThanks for all the info. My husband has a tent, never used, because my idea of roughing it is at the Hilton, but he pulled out the tent, still in the box, and wanted to set it up in the family room, on the tile floor. I don't know what makes him think they won't find me there. It would be only 2 feet from the sofa where I'm trying to sleep now. I will however, look into your method.Thanks, Sharon > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Hi everyone, > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > I was wondering how many of you find black, red and blue > > > > > > > > fibers > > > > > > > > > > all over you? > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Has anyone tried running a lint roller over your body, > > > > > > > > clothes, > > > > > > > > > > bed > > > > > > > > > > > > sheets, scalp, etc? > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Whenever I do this, the lint roller ends up with > > > > > hundreds of > > > > > > > > > > > > thousands, of black, red and blue fibers.
