Guest guest
That would be great Aandraya , thanks so much ! I am pretty sure I have biofilm in my hair and am desperate of getting if out. Guest guest
Yes Kajay, that was me, BUT - The biting and crawling on my scalp I got out via a white vinegar dilution, sprayed on for 7 days in a row - The biofilm (at least I call it biofilm) is a strange phenomenon and hard to describe. It is only at the front plus the right hand side of my hair. It only happens if I go back to areas where the mites had been, mainly office and car, lets say carpeted areas. It usually starts with a magnetic feeling in the hair, then the hair get's all flimsy as though it has been covered with a film. Then the hair starts feeling itchy and it makes me crazy getting it in my face. Guest guest
Last night while sitting in bed (at the hotel) when I leaned back against the headboard it felt as though my hair was attaching to the head board (like a static electric attachment). I kept pulling back and then my hair was sort of flying around my face, right side. I jumped up and ran into the bathroom. I got my soap today so ripped into a bar of lye soap and peppermint. Scrubbed my hair and body with the lye soap and then followed with peppermint. Used tea tree condition on my hair. Seemed to help. Took care of the weirdness in my hair. But I still am feeling itchy. Doggone it. I spent 3 hours in my house yesterday trying to help with the fumigation efforts and to guide the handyman and my son. I came back with lots of little black specks and my throat sort and voice hoarse. Took two showers after returning. I still have black specks. And when I woke up this morning my eyes felt gritty. I discovered two more little black specks near my eyes. So, I whipped out my mini microscope (doing my sleuthing CDC style) and saw that everything, what was in my eyes, on my body and in my throat were identical...some kind of brownish-black particles. Like dirt, but had yellow mixed in, almost a sappy look to it. So, fungus, bacteria, spores??? I don't know. I am not that familiar with that stuff, but not mites. They bite into you. Last night I kept feeling pin pricks on my legs, bottoms of my feet, back, you name (this after two showers!!). So I jumped up, took out my jar of vicks and spread it all over my face, into my hair, on my legs and even the bottoms of my feet. Then I sprayed cedar oil all over the carpet. Itching stopped and I was able to sleep. It is coming back..milder case, but sometimes where this stabs into you, it bleeds. I have a spot on my bottom, which I can't see, but it is bleeding. My nose will bleed and my gums. I do not think these are mites, but definitely could be mite related. I am determined to see how I can find a cause to this and see what this is. Perhaps a biology lab? I don't know. Anyway, went way off course here about me, but perhaps this is all related. Hang in there....Terry > >> > >> This is such valuable information Kajay. Thank you for giving us the update on your progress. So happy to hear you went to a LLMD to get treated. You are very thorough too in what you sent, including attachments! I'm impressed! I am also a believer that information from others helps us enormously. I talk to my LLMD today about my ongoing issues and where to go from here. I don't know Minocycline... have not used it. Sounds like he will treat Lyme first and not co-infections (maybe you don't have them...). My doc started on all of them at once and still don't know how sound that was. She gave me scripts for meds and where to buy herbals. > >> > >> > >> > >> > >> LLMD - First visit trip report + partial labs [2 Attachments] > >> > >> [ Attachment(s) from Kajay109 included below] > >> > >> > >> > >> > >> > >> I wish I had taped my office visit with this doctor. I learned so much from him but cannot remember it all. Here is what I remember so far. Also, I have attached an image file showing the results of the lab tests my primary care practitioner conducted on me in September 2011 (2011 LABS ALL.jpg) as well as another image file showing the doctor's recommendations for me, the two wet swab tests he performed in the office, and the lab tests he ordered and that I had done at LabCorps after the office visit concluded (2012 DOC-LABS.jpg). Will follow up later and post results. Next office visit is scheduled for two months from now. > >> > >> I. Symptoms > >> > >> A. The most important thing my new LLMD told me today is that Lyme is curable . He said that once we clear up the infections associated with Lyme, that may take care of my other issues (Morg). The second most important one is that (and he smiled when he said it) I am definitely not crazy. > >> > >> That's a relief :-) > >> > >> Will post again when I have more news. > >> > >> Kajay > >> > >> > >> > >> > >> Attachment(s) from Kajay109 > >> > >> 2 of 2 Photo(s) > >> > >> > >> > >> 2012 > >> 2012 > >> > >> 2011 > >> 2011 > >> > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > >
