Dear Terri,

Welcome, you will find lots of friends here. You have had life much worse than I have but we welcome all no matter how sick or not. I am age 46, I am married to age 48, he is overweight and has high bp and cholesterol but is otherwise healthy. I have a long list of ailments, I will write some of them I can remember. My main problem is fibromylagia. I also have asthma, chronic sinusitis and allergies. For those of you who were wondering, my test for cystic fibrosis came back and I don't have CF. I also have gastro reflux, IBS, high bp, high cholesterol, low thyroid, probably diabetes, overweight, insomnia, sleep apnea--I sleep w.c-pap, I can't think of what else except anxiety & depression. I have two great kids, Nick is 24 and healthy, he is a college grad and wants to go on to pharmacy school. He is now working full-time as a pharmacy tech and is applying to pharm schools. is 22 and has cystic fibrosis, asthma, gerd, and chronic sinusitis. She is doing very well and is in college full time majoring in Mechanical Engineering. That is what my husband does for work. Next fall she wants to transfer to Cal Poly Pomona where Nick went to finish her degree.

I know what you mean about your friends but if they are or were true friends they will overlook your illness and remain your friend. and I recently started attending church again and we really like it. We have already made a lot of new friends. I feel at home there. I am a strong Christian, not one of those conservative Jerry Fallwell types though. I am a liberal Christian.

oh btw I am on morphine too but its just a pill.

love and hugs,

Dear Terri,

Welcome to the list. You certainly have been dealt a

difficult hand to play, but it sounds like you are

coping the best you can. The people on this list will

definitely understand anything that you go through.

Someone here will have gone through it or something

similar. Those who haven't experienced what you have

will still understand because we have all battled

something terrible to end up here.

I hope you enjoy the list !!!

Hi there. I am thankful to have a place to check in with others who are experiencing life with illness. I have Rheumatoid arthritis and have recently began treatment with methotrexate. And now I have developed a case of shingles. I am single with grown children, have a great job and feeling sick just doesn't seem to fit with my previously active lifestyle. While I know things could be much worse - I suffer with depression and see my future through a negative lens. My "well -days" are wonderful and I accomplish a great deal - but the sick ones are not so great.

Hello Caryn, just wondering if you get your supplies from someone in

Melbourne please? I am 1½ hours up the Hume and don't know of a supplier in

Vic., except Auroma at Hallam.

Regards Loretta

Hi everyone!

My name is Caryn and I live in Melbourne Australia and I am a newbie! To the

group and to lots of things about making bath and body products ... I am on

a constant learning curve! I am so looking forward to sharing with you all

and to learning so much from those of you who are further down the road than

I am. Caryn

Hi there! I just recently was introduced to the DIY in scrubs, shampoo and body

wash. I am still very much a baby at this, so forgive me if any of my questions

seem silly. Thank you so much for letting me join and learn from you guys!
