Guest guest
Best source? I guess that depends on your goal with online cme. I have used www.emcert.com in order to be able to 'check the box' for recertification. They offer a wide variety of courses that fall into the US NREMT required categories allowing me to fill in holes in my recert paperwork. You can get an unlimited membership for (I think )60 USD. Most of the classes don't offer much in the way of new information or much challenge but the NREMT is set up around a different type of medicine that the advanced practice stuff we do. For example, courses such as antibiotic therapy, suturing, of dentistry don't count as cme but Basic Trauma Life Support (or ITLS as it is now) do. Guest guest
So, I just came across this site www.cumc.columbia.edu/studies/trainep/. It offers a single CME for free on 'Eye care for WMD' and is aimed at EMS. I haven't done the CME yet but will once we finish getting re-provisioned on this end. Though it looks like there are a few hoops to jump through, the price is right. If that address doesn't work, use google to take to to it. Guest guest
I have found http://www.crestaznm.org/ lately. It's most hospital based disaster related material. All knowledge is useful so I have been working my way through it. **Only works on a Wintel machine though.**
