Guest guest
I think answer is smoking.According to master dentistry volume 2 ,page number 22 -Smokers have higher prevalence of pdl disease, smoking increases periodontal destruction by three to six fold. According to page number 13- HIV infection predispose to necrotising ulcerative gingivitis that may progress to necrotising periodontitis. Both smoking and hiv infecction causes periodontitis. I think most appropriate answer is smokingregardsnaseema iqbal From: Balsam Majid <balsam_majid@...> Sent: Sunday, 8 January 2012 1:30 PM Subject: Necrotising periodontitis Ore question about what is the greatest predisposing factor for necrotising periodontitis ?
