Dear Neam,

The Blue book, pink book, master dentistry vol 1 and 2 are very important and

should be read thoroughly.. i didn't have a lot of time to prepare so I read

Guyton for physiology which I had used in my B.D.S.... so can't say which topics

from Vanders but someone posted them on the group recently: (Thanks to Irfan

Salim)

Chap1 - Homeostasis : A framework for human Physiology

Chap 3 - Cellular structure Proteins and Metabolism . ( if you havent done

biochem do all, if you have done proteins in biochem then only section A i.e.

cell structure)

Chap 4 - Movement of molecules across membranes

Chap 9 - Muscle

Chap 11 - The Endocrine System section a is v imp

Chap 12 - Cardiovascular Phsiology v imp

Chap 13- Respiratory Phyisology v imp

Chap 14 - The Kidneys and Regulation of water and Inorganic Ions imp

Chap 15- The Digestion and Absorptionof foodv imp

Chap 16 - Regulation of Organic Metabolism and Energy Balance

Chap 18- Defense mechanisms of the body v imp

You can do these or take opinion from other members as well..

Regarding Medical problems.. do the chap on cvs, resp, diabetes etc..

Dentogist is basically for Indian post graduate entrance so if u are running

short of time you can avoid that.. instead do EMQs by Hammond, best of fives by

the same author and mcqs by kathy fan if possible..

Hope this helps...

Regards,

Smriti
