It should be lateral ceph for 1 and 2 is periapical in relation to lower premolars like 34,35 or 44,45...

i completely agree with u ahmed that mental nerve can be seen in opg as it provides broader coverage but mental nerve can be seen in periapical view as we can see mandibular foramen and it provides exit point for both mental nerve and inferior alveolar artery.it appears as a rounded radiolucency lie near apex of mandibular second premolar(basically distal to canine and mesial to ist molar).i think depends on option.regardskanika From: Ahmed Awsi <ahmed.awsi@...> Sent: Monday, 16 January 2012 1:09 PM Subject: Re: radiology question
