RCT was carried out in a molar which had a MOD amalgam restoration. What would be your choice of restoration.

Full gold crown, cast inlay, gold inlay, repeat the amalgam, leave it as it is.

in my opinion the answer is cast inlay . correct me if am wrong

The crown is already having a large restoration ie. MOD amalgam. The same tooth is undergoing a rct which further more reduces the crown strength with enlarged brittle roots. dear Ashish could you explain to me why ?causeaccording to master den vol 2 metal cast inlay indications this restoration case in my opinion could be one of these indecations for inlay metal?
