Guest guest
Dear FORUM, It is really appreciating that Mr. Birendra Soni,is really thinking positively about inclusion of People Living with HIV/AIDS. But we should also see that the inclusion of People Living with HIV/AIDS should be meaningful and they should have their voice. When we talk about People Living with HIIV/AIDS we should not forget that there are organisations running successfully all over India, which are run by People Living with HIV/AIDS themselves. Why always the capacity of PLHAs are doubted?? Why there are no educated PLHAs to work?, they do not creativity?, they don't put hard hours?, they don't yeild good result? they why should PLHAs not been given opportunity to work. I again thank you for your consideration of employing PLHAs and appreciate your efforts in this direction. Do let us know if you need any assistance at any time. In solidarity, With warmest regards, Vijay Nair E-mail: <udaanpanchis@...>
Guest guest
Dear FORUM, I agree with Vijay Nair's (UDAAN TRUST) statement. No doubt PLWHAs must be given equal opportunity to work. If we don't give them employment, we really discriminate with them. On one hand we say that they are like any other ill preson and HIV/AIDS is also like any other infection. Then why this discrimination? I know they people who have infection for the last 10 -12 years and still working and are in the main stream of life.
