Guest guest
Dear Jana, "I love you and I need your help!" Love you too babe *gentle hugs* "Those around me are trying to force me into a nursing home. I AM NOT READY TO GO!!!! Whatta you all think?????" I think you answered your own question by saying you are not ready to go. Are you not ready cause you are afraid? or cause you don't want to leave your home? or are there other factors here? What is the main reason "they" want to put you in a home and who are "they?" Doctor or family? Perhaps being in a place where people will actually look after you would be a good thing? Would you have your computer with you? Could you see your kids etc? I'm around if you need to talk, just yell, and I'll be in the chat room or AIM or ICQ or MSN or whatever "talk" method you want. *hugs* Love you Janalise. Stay safe, Love Aisha. *=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*Believe that there's a light at the end of the tunnel.Believe that you may be that light for someone else.- Kobi Yamada*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=* Aisha ElderwynICQ: #55461955 MSN: Aisha <---- most reliable emergency contact.AIM: aishaelderwynIRC: DALnet # (angel`isha)email: aisha@... website: http://www.elderwyn.com/aishaBeing Sick: Mailing List: aishaelderwyn

Guest guest
Congratulations! Structure and routine will help ease the transition for your new son. Visual schedules will help him get used to things. Please feel free to email direct if you have more questions. As you can see, I don't get to read the list often. Tonya Need Help!! Hi We have been chosen to adopt a sibling group of 2 boys --- 1 just turned 2 years old in November and the other is 10 months old. The worker just emailed us and told us that the 2 year old was just diagnosed with PDD-NOS. We already have 4 boys and were wondering what anyone could tell us abou their experience with that diagnosis etc. Thanks for you help in advance--- Charlene ------------------------------------
Guest guest
www.asaga.com This link will give you all the info plus more needed. PDD-NOS is on the Autism spectrum umbrella. Usually when the kids are young that is the diagnosis that is given but it could change as they get older to Aspergers (high functioning Autism) or Autism itself which could be mild, moderate or severe. Generally, all kids vary and not one child with Autism is similar to another child with Autism but you could see their speech delayed, social skills could be delayed, they could have stims (repetitious behaviors like hand flapping, head shaking etc..) I don’t want to give you too much of a negative picture so I think I’ll stop now. Hope this helps! Guest guest
my 4 year old daughter Bekah was initially diagnosed with PDD-NOS before any type of therapy or intervention . This was at age 3-1/2. All subsequent re-evaluations for wraparound services have since listed her diagnosis as Aspergers and I know that I had discussed this with my BSC in depth and she stated basically the same thing-that as the child gets older and progresses that the dx will probably change. That's a good thing-at least I know we're making progress! LOL ~Jenna~ momma2afella/3bellas Proud Mom of an ASPIE I love someone with AUTISM!
