In an dentate

patient the teeth periodontal ligament can respond to?

a.pain, b. temperature,c.pressure and 2more

options PRESSURE?

Actually its more got to do with the fact of knowing the difference.The basic radiological assesment of TMJ is carried out via Panoramic.If a hard tissue pathology is suspect than a CT scan is carried out.MRI is more applicable for soft tissues as Ebtessam Elhamalawy mentioned so MRI would only be applicable if soft tissue pathology is to be checked out. YES BUT MRI IS THE FIRST CHOICE:

1. BETTER VISUALIZATION OF THE SOFT TISSUE

2. NO IONIZING RADIAITON

3 LESS INVASIVE

CHECK THE RADIOLOGY CH IN DENTAL SECRETS ITS VERY GOOD.
