Hi

Could u plz answer these questions:

1- How old is the pt likely to have a trauma that damages the tooth germ of

permanent incisors?

2- How long an avulsed tooth can survive outside the mouth?

HiI actually did not get exactly what u want to ask in first question but in permanent incisors crown formation get completed in 4-5 years and eruption in 7-8 years.so any injury before the age of 5 can effect tooth germ.Immature teeth with extra alveolar dry time of more than 1 hour should not be replanted.Mature teeth with dry storage of greater than 1 hr will have non vital periodontal ligament.The pdl and pulp should be removed.correct me if wrong.
