Since 's having a g-tube put in next week I've come to learn that

SBE stands for subacute bacterial endocarditis. I had to bring it to

the attention of the nurse interviewing me during the pre-op screening

because the cardiologist failed to get in touch with the surgeon as she

said she would.

Is anyone getting more medical knowledge than they ever imagined they'd

have? I actually had a dream last week that I was in medical school and

didn't want to be there. I kept saying, " I never wanted to know all

this! "

LOL too funny...maybe we need to lighten up the

conversation! in the dental field we shortened it to

BE....thats why i couldnt figure out what it stood

for!
