i think we should go for GIC for its self adhesive property....sajitha From: Miral <miral_hasan@...> " " < > Sent: Sunday, 4 March 2012 11:48 AM Subject: Partial pulpotomy Cvek

Dear all,

I know we should place GI then final restoration following partial pulpotomy, but if we have a choice in an MCQ between ca hydroxide +GI OR ca hydroxide +composite.

What should be our choice.

Thanks

Miral

Hi Miral, i think it will depend on the clinical situation....if in anteriors...composite is preferred in terms of aesthetics....if the exposure is small u can give GIC if exposure is large and in load bearing situation in posterior teeth....composite.....if u decide to give a crown at a later time then sealing can be done with GI... what do u think?sajitha From: Miral <miral_hasan@...> " " < > Sent: Sunday, 4 March 2012 1:01 PM Subject: Re: Partial pulpotomy Cvek
