According to crranza,WHO probe which has a .5 mm ball at tip and markings at 3.5,8.5 and 11.5with color coding from 3.5 to 5.5This color coding,3.5 to 5.5 we use for BPE.The 8.5-11.5 is for the detailed assesment and recording of deep pocket for purpose of preparing a treatment plan for complex periodontal therapyHope it makes some sense..
