I have been thinking since age of the patient is not given,how could we know wether to do pulpotomy or pulpectomy as if apex open we go for pulpotomy and if closed pulpectomy..... Hey,if the apex is open its pulpotomy, if the apex is closed then its pulpectomy and i hope its understood its only in children. for adults with depending on pulp exposure and ur clinical experience..u can either do direct pulp capping tat is if the pulp is vital ...otherwise obvious root canal treatment ...its my opinion...u can still confirm with others From: Sajithakumari Sivaprem <ssajithakumari@...> To:
