1. Inhalation sedation is avoided in pregnant women..so la wil be better choice

3.we can giv sedation..as pt is nervous

Anxious pregnant woman-conscious sedation

Not-cooperating child with 4 molars to be treated- inhalan sedn

Nervous patient for extraction- local anesthesia

Normal pt for simple restorative procedure – local anesthesia

Anaesthesia indicated for patients with COPD –GA

Anaesthesia indicated for pregnant woman –conscious

Anaesthesia indicated for epileptic patient –GA

EMQ on indications of various kinds of anaesthesia (GA, LA, Inhalational sedation )

ARE these answeres correct????

1- anxious pregnant for first and middle trimester is C/ I Nitrous oxideLast trimester C/I benzodiazepine 2- not cooperating child, yes inhalation 3- nervous patient for exo , oral sedation diazepam , IV benzodiazepines 4- yes LA5- LA as they must be treated in upright position , GA only if obsoultely necessary 6- LA7-LA / benzodiazepine Plz correct me BalsamSent from my iPadOn 13 Mar 2012, at 14:24, "Mannar G" <garadahm@...> wrote:
