I m not sure , but there is high caries risk in xerostomia so OHI advise and flouride rinse may be helpful. correct me if i m wrong.

i think without proper oral hygiene, flouride rinses wont work, plz check pg 420 , i may be wrong , plz excuse me if it is so

Yes ofcourse, proper oral hygine is must but frm the options i think its fluoride rinsespatient cant brush whole day, and another option is scaling and polishing.it can help once or for sometime.so frm options fluoride rinses is better. From: bhattacharjee sandeepan

i meant by oral hygiene (scaling and polishing)which is to be done first and then advice the ptnt for fluoride rinses so according to the options i thought bcoz scaling and polishing has to be done first then fluoride rinses to be used , so i chose scaling and polishing , iam sorry by mistake i wrote oral hygiene . i may be wrong please excuse me if iam. Pls correct me if wrongXerostomia is not due to any wrong tooth brushing technique as in abrasion for eg,also scaling and polishing is done every 6 mths n we can not consider it as a primary tt.so B is the most suitable in my opinion .
