Ideal rake angle for universal curettage subgingivae is -20Rake angle achieved by universal curette in subgingival curettage is 0If leading edge is ahead of prependicular(acute angle),rake angle would be negative and if behind(obtuse) rake angle is 0.Hope that helps...
