Most often there is a lessening of pain and a shortening of the episode. However, in about 20% of clients we have heard of increased pain and some inflammation, with little shortening of the episode. We are not sure why some have reacted this way. On herpes on the mouth, we have never had a report of increased pain or swelling. It seems that the two different strains of herpes give different results for a small segment of the population. It is a mystery. Best of Health! The body has, as many people know, a miniature acupuncture map on the hands, feet, ear & mouth, but there is another trigger-point map -- in the colon. One reason lesions can pop out in different places from the same infectious agent is the location in the colon that is irritated by it. Herpes can be controlled by daily intake of lactobacilli. You can take it internally and it will help the eye, if it is herpes. C/S is good. There is an eye drop made with tea tree & grapefruit seed extract that will stop just about any infection. Can't remember where I found it or what it was called. I don't know of any other symptom I have that would indicate herpes. Let me think about this. You know, this just occurred to me, when I was new to this list, two young women were marketing a product they suggested was for the eyes. I forgot it's name but I think I remember it made your eyeball go extremely cold and then it would come back to normal. I think it had a methly-something element contained within it and, at that time, I rejected it thinking that it contained rubbing alcohol. I've since discovered I was wrong. Since I had a huge dose of O3 that day, I believe the virus is being flushed out. I get another dose today. I may try for a whole week of IV O3 gas. I am convinced it will work. Some of those antioxidants require precursors that are often in short supply in the diet but are very plentiful in cold-processed whey. I recommend this natural food to all my clients plus a little unnatural selenium supplement to facilitate the production of the important antioxidant, glutathione. The significance is that disease including infection is always accompanied by low cellular glutathione; conversely, in situations of high cellular gutathione disease is usually absent. It's almost like what they call " retracing " . I remember outbreaks like this many years ago. Had another 120cc of o3 gas iv today. Yesterday I had an injection of 110cc ozone gas (iv) and today I have what appears to be an outbreak, although, strangely there's no pain. There were no prodromal (sic) symptoms. Is this a good sign? Could it be that it's being flushed out? I have had herpes in my system for about 30 years. Any comments are welcome. Take 1 capsule daily if you have no outbreak, and 2 capsules every hour when you do have an outbreak. Antioxidants will interfere with ozone, so don't take them. Best of health! I read somewhere that the body will produce more glutathione during ozone treatments in response to free radicals. I have been taking 0.5-2 gms of Vit C per day for other reasons. I can get details if you want from the people who did this. Not sure how many treatments were involved. My daughter had a similar experience from HBOT and she had never had a herpes outbreak, only canker sores before, but after about 30 HBOT treatments she broke out in a nasty outbreak on her cheek which lasted for about 2 weeks. nothing has reappeared, not even a canker sore. It's almost like what they call " retracing " . I remember outbreaks like this many years ago. Had another 120cc of o3 gas iv today. I know this is all different since the supplements I take control it very well. I feel like the o3 is forcing it out of the tissues where it " hides " . Soon I will administer the coup de grace.
