But GERD needs 6 inches of head above level which is about a pillow or two at most.. COPD on the other hand requires more than 1 or 2 pillows to provide some sort of relief at night .. So all I can say is that it is rare all three options would be given. So it would either by Congestive cardiac failure or COPD. If both options come then Congestive cardiac failure.
