remote platform casualty retrieval?

Folks, i need your collective expertise on this one. On our rig we have

several high platforms that are not accessible by crane, but which have

the potential for casualties. What would be your suggestions for

casualty retrieval given that the only access to them is up many

vertical ladders with fall guards - as usual little more than a man

wide, making stretcher access extremely tough. It seems to me that

lowering via tag lines down the steps is the only option, but this

carries obvious risk to the personnell lowering the lines, the casualty

in the stretcher etc etc.

Have you any suggestions?
